DESIGN INTENTIONS: The idea behind the rocking chair was to create two distinct frames that would come together in an easy & understandable way visually. The rectangular lines are carried throughout the chair and heightened by the repetition of the canvas webbing. The only exception to the strict geometric form occurs in the rockers. Here, the rockers add a playfuness to the rigitiy of the rocking chair.
DESIGN INTENTIONS: The Quack Cave is a social media command center designed with fellow student, Anna Miron. Utilizing a storge space in the University of Oregon’s football stadium, we worked to develp a spatial program and design concept for a media center. Operating on a three month time limit and a $5,000 budget, the majority of the execution of the design were accomplished by ourselves.
