TBILISICITY SESSION beta brandbook
WHAT ABOUT TBILISI CITY SESSION OF 2019? Here can be included the overall, combined vision for the city session by all three of the officials’ teams and the board itself too. Can be quotes placed in caps or as an combined article. I personally believe TSC’19 has a potential to be equal (by standards) to the NSC, or placed somewhere in between a RSC and a NSC, by organising, media output and the academic level too. This can result in the overall elevation of all city sessions, standing as an exemplary mention for the NC and the officials’ teams. As you may know, Tbilisi has massive potentials regarding locations, weather and the reach of the people, meaning more people can participate in the session, more can arrive, the media output can look nice and neat, thankfully to the abundance of good venues and that is a direct assertive to a raised standard, that has a great potential to be of an example for future similar sessions. Howeveeer, that’s just what I think, and here is plenty of room for everybody’s vision, articles and anything that can be an incentive to motivate people to participate.
WELCOMING WORDS FROM THE HEAD-ORGANISER: Here, the head-organiser(s) can include as much of speech as they want. From the announcement, you can see I tried to go for something new, I doubt Emma Stone would like to head-organise, but her photo did well. The photo was cut out and placed on a blank background, with a bit of dimmed white, illustrated with lush, yellow letters containing her name, title, and the name of the session. The overall goal of this sort of an announcement is simplicity and professionalism, when letters and the persons face looks friendly (or even goofy) and approachable; a great advantage for attracting people to fill in the application, and lets be honest, if a person looks like a stone cold bitch (pun included) you might be a wee hesitant to consider applying. The format of this announcement is A4, which is a perfect fit for this beta brandbook, yet for Facebook and Instagram I consider a bit broader square for the first mentioned platform, and a sharp square for the second, while keeping all of the style of the announcement you see next to this.
WHY TBILISI? Here a text can contain classical tourist information, on why is Tbilisi all sunny and shiny, how good it looks in Autumn, what a good cuisine we have, how marvelous it would be to go about the streets of Tbilisi during the work, enjoy the city, etc, etc. Attracting people with the city is one of the key aspects to ensure a good amount of participants, as not many would like to bother themselves and travel to a country which has a saying ‘‘tavze dajmulze puli iciso’’. Information for this page can be provided by me, from the two magazine issues which I edited: National Geographic (Georgia) and Georgian Wine, ensuring proper copyright, since text is written by me and I won’t sue anyone. Or taken from any other source, and either crediting them at the bottom or re-arranging text, which is sly but works every time, plus, if they notice that we stole the text - they and who’s army?
A potential for this page is simple, reminding everyone what EYP is and why is EYP Georgia good at it. Also could be useful to the sponsors, to quickly get to know the format of EYP itself.
Again, including promotional and tourism texts, mentioning how historically rich Tbilisi is and highlighting all the above mentioned information for a final, summarized page.
You might think that there is a lot of room for texts, however, since the booklet is in a beta shape, the room for texts can always turn to a room for any other opportunities, would it be promotions, sponsors, hyperlinks, additional information about the session, more photos or anything, really.
