“Read me a Story” is a Sensory Storytime and I will have lots of fun.


I will go in through the front entrance of the centre. It looks like this:


This is the reception desk at the centre. Someone will say hello to me when I come in.


Sensory Storytime is in the Conference room


This is where we will have our Sensory Storytime.


This is Ms. Valerie. She helps us in Sensory Storytime.


At Sensory Storytime we will try to sit in a circle with Ms. Valerie.


There will be other kids and grown ups there.


I can use one of these cushions to help me know where to sit.


We will sing songs.


We will read books.


We will use many things, like scarves and shakers.


We will see puppets.


There will be a felt board and activities too.


We sometimes will sing the “Sticky Bubble Gum� song and use the Therabands.


We will see and play with bubbles.


or play with some activities


After , Ms. Valerie will wave goodbye to me and we will sing the goodbye song. Until we meet again next time.
