Bomboniere - Wedding Favor

A bomboniere is a small party favor traditionally given to guests at Italian celebrations, particularly weddings. They hold five candied almonds (also called confetti, or Jordan almonds). The number five represents health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and long life; and candied almonds represent both the bitterness and sweetness of life. Bombonieri can take many forms, from a simple tulle bag to truly ornate boxes. My bomboniere is a simple three-inch elongated pyramid that can be decorated any way your creativity inspires you!
