Interactive e-Learning Solution Providers: Fulfilling The Crucial Skill Gaps
D
igitalization has transformed the education sector tremendously. In a business world where companies are indiscriminately running to be the best, today, they have turned towards e-learning solution providers for assistance. The organizations are investing in material resources to help the employees develop professional and personal development of teams through e-learning. With so many companies claiming to provide the best e-learning solutions, it is obvious to get confused. When considering the best e-learning solution provider that can meet your needs, it not easy to distinguish between which services a provider can deliver and which they outsource or simply cannot provide. This simply implies that many buyers find themselves accumulating a combination of solutions that, optimistically, will play nicely together. In e-learning, the content needs to work in-sync with your LMS, videos need to be on-brand and on-message for delivering the exact content that fits your business and training goals. Sometimes the strengths and weakness of the services offered by e-learning companies may not be apparent, they may claim to take care of the training needs, but have some crucial skill gaps. So the team of Mirror Review has enlisted companies who are transforming, as well as fulfilling the crucial skill gaps with their innovative and customizable e-learning solutions in our brand new magazine issue “The 10 Most Interactive e-Learning Solution Providers of 2019”. Showcased on the magazine cover is KnowHow, an interactive eLearning platform that has provided its learning management system (LMS) to organizations. The Director of KnowHow, Richard Kleyn, believes that skill development is an important element for the employee growth that requires structured planning and continuous re-invention, on both content and strategy levels. You will find some amazing articles based on trending topics in ‘Innovative Wireless Technologies’ and ‘VR in Education’ sections. Stay inspired and Stay Updated!

Action Plans, Performance and Check-in reviews, Individualized Training Goals, 360 feedback, Competency, Talent Identification, and Continuous Professional Development to deliver excellent results. Bringing Change in the Employee Training System Richard Kleyn the Director at KnowHow states that eLearning can be contributed to by small groups and the knowledge shared throughout the larger organization. Richard belongs to the retail and financial backgrounds, and this background exposed him to the limitation of training in the sectors. He found out that training was limited, inadequate, and formal in nature. He observed that employees had little ownership of their training, development action plans were not available or coherently communicated, employees had little to no visibility of their achievements, and HR was unable to confidently report and monitor such interventions. This led to more overhead in regards to training budgets. Richard explains, “Training was often seen as a double cost to the organization, in terms of financial, and loss of productivity, with a curriculum that was not tailored to their specific environment or industry.” In the process of overcoming this limitation, Richard joined KnowHow which was a platform primarily focused on eLearning delivery. Following a rigorous and lengthy assessment of functional requirements, continuous improvement and updates, KnowHow has developed not just an LMS but an Employee Development Management system. On explaining the flexibility of the company, Richard said that it offers a fully themed bespoke look and feel for those looking for a custom platform. He further added that the look and feel are designed on the basis of the client’s corporate identity and takes into account its user base and ethos.

eLearning. The company expanded its services to offer Event Management, Performance Development Reviews, Training Goals / Catalogue, Content Creation, and much more in its platform. This expansion of services contributed to the positive growth of the company. In addition, in order to provide a seamless extendable offering, the KnowHow platform assimilated add on modules for Competency, and Talent Management, which are specifically integrated for increased visibility of an organisations talent and skills offering. Upgrading from the traditional LMS platform, it has transformed into a complete Employee Development Management suite with eLearning at its core. Seven Key Pillars of Know How Model Based on the experience of client engagement, the company understands that the clients’ operating in regulated environments need to demonstrate that they have adequately trained and up-skilled employees in dynamic industries. These include Finance, Logistics, Engineering, Energy, Environment, and FDA regulated industries, to mention a few. KnowHow blends a learning approach that incorporates external vendor training with internal eLearning courses. The e-learning typically starts primarily as an induction program. KnowHow believes that induction for beginners at organizations should be achieved fully, prior to the fresher entering the field on the first day. This helps to increase efficiency and reduce the impact on existing staff. The manager or HR evaluate compliance and HSEQ requirements, for the employee. Later a Personal development Action Plan is reviewed and implemented for the employee. Relevant/required training courses are made available for the employee, as well as training catalogue. Frequently a performance development review is evaluated to set company and personalized objectives for the employees. However, the performance of the employee is constantly measured via micro stats.

The Forthcoming Innovative Projects In order to continuously enhance and future proof the platform, KnowHow is all set to integrate webinars with automated session recording and conversion for shareable eLearning. In addition to these automated sessions, the platform plans to provide an online subject matter expert, which can be linked to specific training material via built-in question routing on a content level. KnowHow understands that the use of bots and machine learning is ever-evolving. The company utilizes the novel tech in improving user experiences, increase interaction and provide a real-time source for customer feedback. It has also created One-Click-Build, which offer users the ability to upload Word, PDF, and PowerPoint documents. The system then converts these documents into eLearning that can be accurately scored, durations recorded and bookmarking saved. Richard’s Message for its Customers Richard believes that skill development is an important element for employee growth that requires structured planning and continuous re-invention, on both content and strategy levels. This balance is the key to being successful. To maintain efficient and effective results, organizations need to constantly practice skill/learning development. He adds, “Skills / Learning development is equally owned by the employee and upper management — the more its encouraged and reinforced above, the more efficient and effective the results will be.”

Bigger Brains: Crafting Uniquely Engaging & Interactive eLearning Courses
hanks to the miracle of the internet and tech advancements, new doors have opened for accessing knowledge, high-quality education, and training. Nowadays, eLearning landscape is gaining immense popularity among students and learners due to its wide set of benefits all over the world. Presently, there are a number of eLearning solutions providers that are offering diverse courses through their respective flagship platforms. Founded in 2012, one such interactive eLearning platform, Triple Tech LLC dba Bigger Brains is on a mission to create more productive workplaces through exceptional eLearning offerings. Remarkably, the major driver behind the company’s success and reputation is its CEO, Chip Reaves. Chip has 20+ years of experience and is highly skilled in computer service, franchise management, and online training programs. While commenting on the eLearning scenario, from a leader’s and entrepreneur’s perspective, Chips says that eLearning and traditional education will continue to work side-by-side. Furthermore, when it comes to eLearning, the online platform is more convenient and cost-effective for covering diverse topics but few things are best taught in a live, teacher-lead scenario. A Serial Entrepreneur Helping Companies in Their eLearning Efforts Going down the memory lane, Chip met with a gamechanging incident that motivated him to establish Bigger Brains. It all began when the seasoned leader co-founded Computer Troubleshooters, a worldwide IT franchise system. While working there, he was allotted the task of creating an online training platform for the company. For the first time, Chip learned the value and significance of eLearning while building his online training portal which is now used by over 400 locations around the world. By shifting training to the online portal, he saved considerable amount of time and travel expenses by delivering it to large number of people. “After selling Computer Troubleshooters, I wanted to help other companies with their own eLearning efforts by providing a high-quality set of commonly needed training courses which they could instantly deliver to their people,” says Chip. This is how Chip was inspired to establish Bigger Brains. Currently, the company continues to create the “Absolute Best Online Training” from its studios at Anderson, South Carolina. Making Courses Fun, Interactive, and Easy To Understand Bigger Brains is an off-the-shelf eLearning content provider with a “Uniquely Engaging”™ Teacher/Learner format. This

format consists of video-based modules filmed in a studio with multiple cameras and two people on screen that are: “Teacher” and “Learner”. Because of this, the skilled team of Bigger Brains can deliver natural dialogue, clarification, interrogation, and humour that doesn’t exist in traditional lecturebased modules. The company’s training content is excellent for companies of any size, but particularly beneficial for training departments. Additionally, by using Bigger Brains’ courses, companies can concentrate their inner training on the subjects distinctive to their organizations. To create the most realistic and comprehensive training courses possible, the most interactive eLearning solution provider works with top teachers and subject matter experts. These experts have real-world experience of working in particular areas along with teaching experience in colleges and corporate environments. Offering Different eLearning Courses Globally As a leading eLearning solution provider, Bigger Brains offers a library of off-the-shelf eLearning courses focused on topics related to Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Email Management, Cybersecurity, general business productivity, and many more. These courses are taught by hired industry experts. Along with this, the “Bigger Brains style” videos are designed to be both enjoyable to watch as well as effective than the run-of-themill lecture-style videos that are often found online. Additionally, the company has developed and designed a new eLearning app to help people retain the knowledge and skills they learn via Bigger Brains and other courses. BrainBot, an intelligent AI-based chatbot communicates with users to provide post-training reinforcement boosters or ‘nudge learning’, which can
help improve knowledge retention by a factor of 10x. Working Together to Create the Finest eLearning App and Courses Currently, Chip is focusing on BrainBot’s global expansion. After the enhancements, companies and teachers can use it to support their personal training. Furthermore, the versatile leader and his professional team are adding more features in the current courses with interactive transcripts, gamified knowledge checks, and localized translations. In the future, people from all walks of life will be able to access as well as use Bigger Brain’s unique eLearning courses and app. Staying Ahead by Making Training Interactive, Engaging and Effective
enhance the company’s unique training platform. In 2017, the highly experienced team at Bigger Brains hosted an event to help focus group of millennials to better understand what eLearning features worked best for them. Likewise, in 2018, they developed their BrainBot workflow learning app. This year, the expert team has recruited industry professionals to evaluate and refine their course production process. As a result, they are able to improve the focus and knowledge-transfer of their eLearning courses by achieving these milestones year after year. Things to consider while choosing the Right eLearning Courses Being the CEO of a prominent eLearning solution provider, Chip feels that customers should be aware of their

investments in eLearning. He believes that creating or buying eLearning courses is very easy, but they may become boring or ineffective for their teams. All it takes is one or two bad experiences that can push them away from using eLearning at all. He further adds, “By focusing on the quality of your eLearning content, including things like pacing, lesson objectives, course outcomes, and key point outlines, you can build training that your people will enjoy and benefit from.”

urrently, many organizations provide content via instructor-led training and through e-learning courses with a wealth of resource materials to support that learning. When comparing traditional and elearning methods of education, e-learning delivers more benefits. e-learning offers the user an accommodating space whilst utilizing videos, documents, and quizzes to learn at their own pace. According to the user feedback data, instructor-led training is still a widely used method to deliver learning. However, there has been a potential growth in the availability of different training methods. One such interactive e-learning solution provider called The Brainier LMS is emerging at a fast pace. Initially, Brainier was an organizational training company, providing seminars led by world-renowned presenters and authors. Along with the seminars, training also was delivered through the technology of the day: DVDs and CD ROMs. The company utilized a traditional training system for fifteen years, and later in 2001 introduced the first LMS. This upgrade was the natural extension of the core competencies of the company to provide innovations in the online learning market since the launch. Advanced, Cohesive and Customisable Learning Management The platform can be configured as a basic learning system for delivering custom or off-the-shelf content with basic reporting. It can also be enabled as an extended-enterprise global organization. Its database is derived from a multi-tenant design, which allows significant agility for clients with complex organizational structures. Other than the design, additional features include an automated and localized world time zone and supports 14 languages. Brainier also provides third-party content for the clients, along with the easy inclusion of client-supplied or custom content. Its flagship product is The Brainier LMS, which provides customers with tremendous flexibility for the rapidly changing and high-sophisticated needs of today’s learners. It benefits the clients with; Ÿ

Moving Beyond the Traditional LMS Jerry Cox, the President of Brainer LMS says, “Training Is for Yesterday’s Requirements. Learning Is for Today. Knowledge Is Forever.” Jerry defines his educational journey to be the same as the usual set pattern of classroom, homework, tests…repeat. His education has been mostly with traditional learning, including high school and college. Although his education relied on traditional methods, even after college, technical training was usually facilitated and certifications were done on a traditional testing basis. Jerry realized that he succeeded when he independently studied. He said, “I found, however, even in college, that I thrived on independent study. I tended to get better grades and retain more of the information when I was in charge of my study and research methods while being provided basic guidance from scheduled meetings with a professor.” He believes that if online training or
access to an LMS was introduced earlier he would have done even better in his studies. In order to break the set pattern of learning, he joined Brainier 18 years ago and is striving to bring the expected change in the training methods. Considering “training” to be “yesterday’s requirement”, presently the main focus of Jerry is on delivering knowledge. According to Jerry, “Learning” is sustaining the current goal that keeps the user afloat in their job, but true “knowledge” is something that it stays with the user forever. Focusing on Core Competencies Rather Than Features
contributes to solving the business challenges through learning. The Bi-Annual Project Announcements Currently, companies and organizations of all sizes use the Brainier LMS. It provides a technologically advanced learning platform for organizational learning. It releases software updates on a bi-annual basis. The forthcoming releases are scheduled for Fall 2019, and Spring 2020, which are centrally focused on “Knowledge”. The company is considering the next generation of learning and development products and understands
Our technology helps your business achieve breakthrough results through better enterprise e-learning that will educate, engage & empower your employees. The e-learning industry is filled with many solutions in the market that are providing truly innovative work. Yet, the scope of challenges that organizations are facing at the strategic level is ever-changing. However, shaping the culture of an organization through robust yet efficient learning programs is achievable; although, engaging a workforce is difficult when the user experience is overly complicated. Jerry advises that customers to pay attention to a solution provider’s core competencies and not simply a laundry list of features. One should evaluate the strengths of a potential partner and not choose based on promises made. The Brainier LMS works hard to make sure that it actually

By introducing features like additional off-the-shelf software integrations with established HCM partners, advanced gamification, evolving AI features, accessibility options, and more, Brainier is working to bridge the gap between knowledge and learning. At present, it consists of innovative database design allowing for easy configuration of basic organization charts as well as highly sophisticated and complex organizational structures.

echnology is a wonderful thing, who knew we might use Virtual Reality (VR) in education one day. Back in the days, we had books, notebooks, and our imagination to solve the problems. “Suppose you have four apples in your bag.” That statement always got me hungry and I indulged myself imagining four apples in my bag and how I am going to eat it. Wait Teacher had other plans and he wants me to give two of my imaginary apples to Suzie. Now I am left with two imaginary apples and dubious teacher is not done yet he wants to take rest for himself. At the end of it, I do not have any apple to eat. Men those were the days where teaching was done by real people and I listened to them very carefully while looking at the sky on my knees and my hand raised outside of the class. Apparently, you can’t ask money for imaginary apples. Then and now, we have seen the landscape of education change drastically. The online programs and solutions that are available for the students are making strides in the education sector. These programs might one day replace the traditional method of classroom teaching. But those days are still far away and we will specifically discuss the new kid in the class in this article. That is VR and how it can be used to educate young minds. To go deep into the topic we must first learn what is VR? To do that we must break it into two parts, Virtual means being something in essence, though not in actual and Reality means something that has actual existence. The combination of both these words does not make any sense in the real world, but if we look at it from the technological point of view it might appear as do not physically exist but brought to life through software in the virtual world. It means the feeling, the touch and the experience might seem real but they are not.
22
The introduction of VR in education I ďŹ rst came in touch with VR technology through video games and movies. Tell you what, it made my gameplay and entertainment experience much better. It feels like I am literally inside the game or movie ďŹ ghting the bad guys. As the technology evolves the gaming and entertainment industry are providing much better user experience to its customers. But VR in education is a fairly new concept and how efďŹ cient it is going to be in the learning sector the future will only tell. But the data that been generated through research promises a good result, as 97 % of the students like to study from VR. VR in education estimated to be 700 million dollar industry by 2025 and education is going to be the fourth biggest sector for VR investment. Positives of VR in education For now, let get into matter how the implementation of VR in education might bring some positive changes.
23
VR in Education
the school authorities around the world are not yet ready for that.
Virtual Interaction real experience First and foremost VR will provide the interaction with the environment which might be difficult or impossible in the real world. Let’s take the example of the subject of History. Through VR the students will able to visit ancient civilization interacts and gathers knowledge through experience which is very difficult to simulate in the real world.
Limit the human connection My fond memory about the school is not only about the punishment, but it also includes the nurture, the guidance and the companionship that I shared with my teachers and fellow students which made it a lot better in the end. And any kind of VR cannot replicate that.
Deeper learning Better understanding Virtually impaired VR can provide a better understanding of the subject. In books, we get the two-dimensional pictures with a lengthy explanation of the topic. The students can see threedimensional objects through VR and learn their real origin and it is better because of 3D.
Students with sight or listening disabilities or some kind of learning disability might not find VR useful. Some tweaks and tricks might help the students with learning imparity. Still, it might not be for all.
Fun with games
Hurdles to jump, opportunity to grab
More than anything else kids love to play and they should be allowed to play. In schools, VR technology could help to change some subjects into role-playing games to make the students learn while playing and play while learning.
The idea of VR in education is still in a conceptual and testing stage. The hurdles like customized user experience and all-around approval are a far bigger mountain to climb. The technology of VR is new and we should give it time to evolve into a complete product before education can accommodate it in its system. VR has a tremendous track record in entertainment and simulation industry. So do not discard it that easily it might surprise us in the near future as the technology is rapidly improving. We all want to go to that next stage and VR might be that stage which will elevate the level of education, till then we have to work with what we have.
Safe and secure VR will allow teachers to simulate situations such as war or natural disaster which might not be possible or too dangerous to conduct in a real setup. The students will study all prospects and in the process, they will not get in harm’s way. Limitations of VR The VR in Education might have some positive potential to offer but moving forward it is essential to look at its drawbacks before giving it a green signal. Too expensive to handle The equipment and the software that is needed to set up the infrastructure for basic VR training can cost a fortune and

adds, “Another important aspect is that the traditional way doesn’t work anymore since nowadays information is at our fingertips. The role of the teacher needs to change, meaning that they have to be able to teach students important skills, such as digital literacy.”
With his teaching experience, Graham built his first company and he ventured to corporate training and software products. Later, he founded two more companies related to computer tech and training. He spent most of his career in the enterprise software space but was still connected to educational components, whether it was teaching at University, writing books, or providing training in corporations. Eventually he was drawn back to his educational roots because he believed that there is a better way to help facilitate teaching and learning.
Spotlight on the Opportunities
Graham’s view on traditional and digital education Having an experience of more than a decade in the educational sector, Graham shares his opinion on traditional and digital education. On differentiating between the traditional approach to education and e-Learning he highlighted the most important points. He explained that e-learning is a more student-centred approach which is suited for active learning, whereas, traditional education is still focused on lectures and offers less interaction. Enlightening the benefits of e-learning he said that teachers can make use of multimedia tools to make lessons more engaging. he business world is flooding with companies that want to increase the growth pace. These companies understand that learning and people are their valuable assets, so they invest in the employees by providing them with the knowledge they need through e-learning. Ultimately, in a business world where companies are chaotically running to be the best, they are investing in material resources, which will help the employees to develop professional and personal development of the teams through e-learning. Knolyx is the place where professionals who want to refine their skills, can embark on a captivating learning quest by choosing their own training plan, which will help them in their career development. Adrian Sita is the Founder of Knolyx, who established the company in 2011, and today it is one of the leading e-learning solution providers. e-learning Changing The Perspective Of Learning Process In comparison to traditional ways of education, elearning has many alterations, mainly due to revolutionized technology. As e-learning benefits people with the flexibility to access information on the go and at their own pace, rather than traditional classroom education, which is restricted in terms of time and space. This leads to an increase in knowledge retention rates; because people tend to grasp long-term knowledge if the provided information in the preferred learning style. Besides, e-learning platforms are changing the perspective upon the learning process. Making use of this innovative technique, Knolyx is merely grasping information to internalizing it and turning it into practical skills through tools such as branching scenarios and gamification. It has also leveraged mobile learning and microlearning, which makes the process of assimilating information easier, by dividing it into chunks of knowledge, customized according to clear learning and development goals. Intuitive and Engaging Learning Processes Knolyx acts as a platform where its partners are credited with an e-learning environment to share their valuable knowledge. Other than this, its UX experience is making the learning process more intuitive and engaging. Moreover, to make the application more engaging it is equipped with customization tools that provide the learners to create a familiar environment. This customization feature helps the learners to adapt their own organizational branding and culture with an extra gamification tool that allows badge customization, rewards, and leaderboards. The Opposite Domino Effect Initially, Knolyx was started with the idea that knowledge is enlightening and it needs a dynamic learning environment where the passionate learners constantly pass it on. Adrian explained that learning is like the domino-effect but reversed. As in a domino, the pieces fall apart one after another, due to the power of learning, people raise up one from another like a reversed domino-effect. Knolyx aims to enlighten the learning industry by providing a platform with a collaborative environment, in-depth analytics tools, blended learning, gamification tools and continuous access to information.

Learn B Amp: A Unique Platform Driving Performance In Forward Thinking Businesses
y improving the accessibility to information, knowledge, and education, the Internet has opened numerous doors to quality learning. Here comes the role of e-learning solutions providing companies who are seizing this opportunity left, right, and center. Out of the bouquet of e-learning service providers, Learning Management System (LMS) providers are one of them. The problem with most LMS providers is that their products are built on the old structure which is less engaging, resulting in loss of interest of the users. Simultaneously, employees are used to tapping consumer-grade applications in their day-today life through mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. Moreover, the use of such poor digital experience is abandoned by the millennials and Gen Z. Hence, the challenge of creating something new and interesting with more engaging software platform arises.
Founded in 2013, Learn Amp addressed this issue and started a unique learning experience platform that provides an enjoyable user interface and intuitive user experience. With an urge to do better in the market and also provide with a better learning experience, the company quickly ďŹ gured out that customers wanted a great UX/UI combined with greater LMS functionality. So in the next two years, Learn Amp combined LMS and LXP in one application. All-in-one Tool Creating a Direct Connection between Employers and Employees Learn Amp successfully accomplished the development process of providing a unique solution to the learners by creating all-in-one platform. This all-in-one tool enables the employers to measure their return on investment in a far more meaningful way than the other providers. The tool allows to directly track the connection between learning and improved workplace performance.
Duncan Cheatle | Founder & CEO
This combination of LMS and LXP platform is used to provide a platform to SMEs and mid-market companies (100 to 5,000 employees). It also provides the platform to training providers or community owners with up to 50,000 learners. It has a huge library curated of nearly 10,000 items of content and courses to help learn in the ow of work. This unique feature allows Learn Amp to

partner with a number of content and courses providers delivering an all-inone learning solutions. The company application has integrated its tool which is a combination of engaging, learning, and performance management, attracting most of the fast-moving businesses towards it. The key feature of this tool is that it creates a direct connection between both the employer and employee by combining learning and engagement tool with the performance management cycle. Creator of the Platform who recognized a Great Opportunity to Help Students Before the availability of such tools in the market, Duncan Cheatle who is the founder of Learn Amp faced similar issues. Though he enjoyed his university days, he saw very little connection between what the academics was researching and what they were taught. Later, while studying for his ACA exams, he had similar realization where he noticed that the university was teaching far behind than what he was taught at PwC. The thought of creating an e-learning space began at the time when Duncan chaired many round table discussions with scale-up CEOs who were quite worried about the work readiness of school leavers and graduates. Therefore, creating a platform where students are helped in improving skills beyond what they were being taught proved extremely costeffective and beneficial. On this, Duncan further added, “It used to take
me hours to find decent content and learning providers. It now takes me seconds. We’ve saved a fortune as so much of Learn Amp’s library is free stuff and the ratings mean you can see what courses are really worth it” Taking a Different Approach from Others Duncan and Learn Amp’s journey has not been easy due to the fact that the learning platform market is highly competitive with over 1000 vendors. Over the years, Learn Amp has built a good reputation by creating such innovative e-learning solutions. The company differentiates itself from others in the market as it is not
awarded with the Best Use of Technology at the Employee Experience Awards. Valuable Advice to e-learning Customers Learn Amp doesn’t believe that a single vendor can deliver well on everything. But if the combination of best providers who are great at what they do is coupled with innovators, then they can provide a world-class elearning ecosystem. Therefore, Duncan advises his customers to make sure they back the future rather than get swayed by the big players in the marketplace.
We are the best experience combining learning, engagement and performance. focused on the very large end of the market. Moreover, the company does not sell to businesses over 10,000 users unless they are training providers. This approach which differentiates Learn Amp from other has resulted in securing numerous awards and recognitions. To name a few, Learn Amp was recognized as the #1 LXP globally for the last two years by leading analyst, Craig Weiss and

Future Calls for More Innovative Projects For Learn Amp, the next major release will be an innovative combination of software features with templates. This integration will be 100 times quicker to set up and get going. For this, Duncan and team are coming up with some more exciting distribution partnerships in the line in specific sectors where the company knows it can deliver well.

ireless communications are one of the better domains of technology development of our time. This progress is being driven by the shift of what has been largely a medium for supporting voice telephony into a medium for supporting other services. The demand for new wireless capacity is growing at a quick pace. In the present day, the wireless communication system has become an important part of different types of wireless communication devices, which permit the user to communicate even from remote operated areas. There are many devices used for wireless communication like mobiles, Cordless telephones, GPS, Wi-Fi, satellite television and wireless computer parts. Current wireless phones include 3G and 4G networks, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies.
Long Range Wireless Power to Replace Power Cables The long-range wireless power someday in the future going to replace the power cables from electronic appliances like computers, mobiles, and gadgets used in the kitchen. But, the initial wireless power systems were not that successful in providing the experience that the users expected. The information that is available combined with current technology will help to redesign the communication system that will fit into living spaces. Previously, the device needed to be kept in a certain place, which is a slight improvement on the cable charging devices.
Let's see how the following emerging communication technologies are going to make the communication systems better and efficient to use.
Low Power Wide Area Networks Provide Long-range Wireless Connectivity
5G Enables High-Speed Internet for Masses
Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology come up as a phrase in 2013 not as a new technology standard, but rather as a category of wireless technologies that are well suited to the specific needs of machine-to-machine and IoT devices. Most of IoT devices, especially those in cities and industrial sectors, don't require the same speed and bandwidth of consumer cellular devices. LPWA Network (LPWAN) technologies enhance the business case for IoT solutions, offering a cost and power-efficient wireless option that leverages existing networks, global reach, and strong builtin security.
The 5G cellular technology is upon us, we might see 5G get adapted in major cities by the end of 2019 or at the beginning of next year. The technology supposed to compliment Wi-Fi as the speed of the internet is going to improve by the introduction of 5G. The speed is not the only thing that 5G is going to provide as its prices are going to be economical. The evolution of 5G will help in setting high-speed internet services for individuals and organizations on the Internet of Things and low latency applications. Innovating Wireless Technologies
Backscatter Networking Leveraging Existing RF Signal Resources Backscatter communication technology has been introduced recently. It is becoming a go-to choice for self-sustainable communication systems as an external power supply or a dedicated carrier emitter is not required. By using existing RF signal resources, backscatter technology can support sustainable and independent communications and consequently open up a whole new set of applications that facilitate Internet-of-Things. Software-Defined Radio making it Assessable for All Software-defined radio is an RF communication system that incorporates a significant amount of this software-based signal-processing functionality. It is a concept according to which RF communication is achieved by using software to perform signal-processing tasks that are typically performed by hardware. This communication system provides a vehicle for carefully analyzing RF signals and experimenting with modulation and decoding techniques. It also makes custom RF communication systems more accessible to those who have limited experience with RF design. Wi-Fi 6 More Reliable with Speed Wi-Fi 6 will ultimately enhance the experience for all wireless users, from office workers, who will find that their devices communicate more securely and quickly in crowded offices, to people supporting constellations of IoT devices. Customers will find that they can pack more low-power devices into a space with fewer access points. Wireless communications globally are something that people can expect as technology advances. Wireless communications have a lot of benefits and can make the world a lot more efficient. It does have concerns though as with every other new advancement that is made in today's world. The difficulties with security regarding access to a person's personal information or the negative impact that it may seem to have on society are a few things that are keeping back the progress that wireless technology could be making.
