Walk amongst the frozen tree tops high in the Hakkoda Mountains that some say resemble monsters! You’ll ride the cable car up but this is still a challenging hike at the summit. The group will cover 2-5 kilometers depending on weather, group fitness and experience level, and snow conditions. You will definitely walk away having learned some military and mountaineering history connecting your experience to real events from the past. • Includes: Transportation, certified Japanese mountain guide, Hakkoda Ropeway ticket, snowshoes and daypack.
