Michigan Sea Grant
Michigan Sea Grant is a cooperative program of University of Michigan and Michigan State University. It is part of the National Sea Grant College Program, a network of more than 30 university-based programs in coastal states across the country administered through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Michigan Sea Grant employs six extension educators located in coastal communities around the state. Additionally, Michigan Sea Grant communicators, researchers and specialists provide Great Lakes information to Michigan residents, educators and stakeholders through newsletters and special publications, Web sites, educational displays, projects and presentations.
