Pauly Friedman Art Gallery
The Pauly Friedman Art Gallery enriches the creative spirit of the Misericordia University campus and community through exhibitions and programs. All exhibitions are integrated with curriculum and respond to the critical concerns of the University's founders, the Sisters of Mercy. We feature artworks and artists of historical significance, such as Elizabeth Catlett, Jacob Lawrence, Joan Miró, and Grant Wood. We also introduce audiences to innovative approaches by contemporary artists such as Sandra C. Fernandez, Li Hongbo, Matt Manalo, and Holly Wilson. Through our exhibits we consider how artists uniquely contribute to the various fields and disciplines of the art world as well as advance the University values of Mercy, Justice, Service, and Hospitality. The gallery is directed by Lalaine B. Little, PhD.
