the Territory: Valdobbiadene Valdobbiadene is -along with Conegliano- the historical production area of Prosecco, limited to 15 Hill towns. From 2010 the area became DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) and its the limited size is testament to the preciousness of the product. Valdobbiadene has the largest concentration of high Hill vineyards, often grown in extreme conditions and with very high slopes which require crop operation by hand. Only Prosecco produced in the DOCG area can boast the SUPERIORE label.

the Company and the Cellar The company is headquartered in of Valdobbiadene, the heart of the Prosecco D.O.C.G. area, and has been recognized in the region for the past 30 years, fot its award-winning quality. Bellussi is focused on research and product selection that enhances the aromatic characteristics, the elegance and the freshness of each wine during the vinification process. The goal of the company is the continuous pursuit of quality in product packaging, to satisfy the palate and the eye. For that reason Bellussi has invested in recent years in machinery and equipment, reaching the highest technological levels. Autoclaves and equipment for bottling and packaging – in addition to strict treatment procedures of raw materials-have enabled the company to obtain several national and international certifications, including the important BRC certification, which guarantees the wines are produced according to international standards for food safety.
