Miskat was born in 1982 in a family of multiple ethnicities religious backgrounds. His childhood, or perhaps lack of, defined him greatly.

His story is a powerful one and he has chosen to use it as an inspiration for himself and for others, which has resulted in articles in various magazines, a television documentary and expressed by his art in writing and performing. Currently Miskat is a consultant on business administration and interpersonal communication in his First Life but has held various professions, ranging from wedding manager, sales executive, secretary, chairman of a youth organisation and trainer/coach. His partner in SL Imma is also his foster father to 2 boys of 17 and 18. He resides in Europe.

Miskat Qinan has been a resident of Second Life (SL) since 17.08.2007 and has always had an interest in creating new things, to let atmospheres appear and to make moments in time. With founding | endless | in the beginning of 2008 he become an acknowledged custom builder, eventmanager stylist. He also organizes and hosts events in SL.

For over a year now Miskat has been working with photography in SL, but made true progress in the the last 6 months. He has made his work public through Flickr, the commonly used webcommunity for SL photography and imagery. Miskat aims to bring variety in his work. At one moment he can be launched by his bunneh brother from a canon, while the other day he replicates a picture of H.R. Giger. Love has brought him new inspiration, but next to an almost classical portrait of him holding his girl in the pouring rain you can also find a close-up with his face morphed 3 times into each other to show his fears and insecurity coming with love. Looking at his work one has to realize that most often the sets are build just for that one picture. For that one item he has hopped over half the grid and poses are often made by himself. He aims to have his crafts blend in more and explore possibilities of SL and stretch them to the limits, or likely beyond them. To And

31.07.2003 22:00 gmt +1 i am the other as i don’t know who i am. as never before i wander to achiev direction in my being. i suspect vicious thoughts as they have not yet appeared on my path to be turned positive. while i feel mea culpa i grow to self consciousness. developing towards selfish indulgement, suffering filled with lust i travel rapidly through the enormous vaults filled with the jealousy of my being opposites the actions of soul. i pass away while i advance faster and faster. i spread physically if i were moss of eternity. i hold tight to no emotion, yet i bleed as if being hit by the arrow of cupids devil. lead me, is what i scream, while my knowledge is there where it should be. bastardian should have been my name when baptised. as if it was vacuum i taste hope till the connection of my wires will collapse. creation after creation has been developed to be aesthetically taken down again. my being crawls itself through the presence of me. i have yet to be found. empty spaces are destroyed with the gathering of neuroticism. lead me, i said once again, and i move faster in the opposite direction. may i understand myself or have i been created by ambition that appears to be nothing but air? i intensely indulge descivity i have yet to understand. feed me and i am lost. inspire me to useless thoughts that will inform the essence of simple life. love is the perpetual prey that is not to be caught. spinning thoughts with an ivory core of truth thorned by jericho’s rose roam and get cought in the one emotion unwilling to expose itself. the pumping heart makes me feel alive. restless i push forward as the fool who thought he gathered his knowledge. never was i not and realised that i am the other than of whom i thought. hope has been forcefully slung away. nobody understands my name. if i don’t know who i am, does that make me non existent? the anchorite within me repeats the mantra of the unknown. i desire to mate with happiness to leave it all. travelling while floating i come in the surroundings of the fears of life. do not touch me other than physically without making the connection. i endeavor to enjoy my selfish indulging image. hysteria of the masses. data 1/4
The first thing that struck me and attracted with Miskat Qinan was his art. It touched me, pulled me in deep and has never again let me go. Every time I look at his pictures, they evoke emotions, memories, connections that both teaches me about him, but in turn certainly also teaches me more about myself. I have been fortunate to be able to follow the process that brought this exhibit into existence, and feel awed by the levels of serious involvement, deep contemplation, brilliant creativity and sheer imagination I have been witness to. Especially by his courage to involve not only his artistic sense and professional aspirations in this project, but also bringing deeply personal stories to life in these pictures. In a sense not only showing his skills and creativity, but also the human being that is Miskat. These things combined with the wonderfully brilliant and sweet, caring and loving person I have come to know and love deeply over the last 2 months, makes me feel incredibly honoured and lucky to know him, to be close to him and be loved by him.
