Misri Patel

Misri Patel is an architectural designer, fabricator, and a self-taught artist. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning in Master of Science in Digital and Material Technology. Prior to graduate school, Misri worked as an intern at Sameep Padora and Associates in Mumbai and as a designer trainee at LOT-EK, New York. Currently, Misri is a research assistant for Professor Sean Ahlquist, focusing on the integration of textile hybrid structure with motion sensing and material technologies. She is interested in computational design methodologies, advanced material exploration, fabrication technologies and committed to investigating the influence of material system as an agent for initiating a coherent physical and social environment with proneness to obsessive drawing. http://in.linkedin.com/in/misripatel
