Academic Strategies and Techniques: Direct Instruction
Daily Activities: Routine Activities (attendance, date and songs)
Developmental Activities: 1. The teacher will perform the routine activities, and will also write the date on the board. 2. The teacher will start with a reflection: “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way” – Napoleon Hill 3. The teacher will provide examples of common and proper nouns on the board and let the students explore the category the words belong to. 4. After exploring through the examples the teacher will provide a list of words and the students will have to place each word under common or proper noun.
