FLYERPROMONOW presents
How did the Holliwoodz come to be? Holliwoodz: For the record this is G-Live Mr. Rock n Rolla and secondly we all have an extreme talent in what we do. As far as for me I do the rock and bring that edgy raw look, EGY is the southern style of the band and Izaiah does the production and arrangements and he features on the track. As far as the name well, everybody is Hollywood from the way you dress to the way you look overall. Your life is a movie everyone has a roll whether your an actor or actress. Imaj, I understand that you do photography. What made you get into that and where do you see it taking you?
By: Oleika F lyer Promo N ow & Talkof Orlando .com presents this week’s Talk of Orlando,
The Holliwoodz.
A group of talented gentlemen whose sound is reminiscent to groups like Run DMC and Aerosmith, Public Enemy and Anthrax that infuses Rock and Rap together. If you haven’t seen their stage performance, get familiar. They are creatively animated and they bring so much energy to the stage it can become intoxicating and electrifying.
Newly signed with Foreignity,
these men will be a force to be wreckin’ with.
As they work closely with Flo-Rida and his partners E-Class and Izzy of PoeBoy Records, these “Holliwoodz” are on their journey of entrepreneurship and music dominance. Look out for their singles on Itunes “One Life” and “Naked” dropping on April 20th. See them on tour, in Australia with the MTV’s American Best Dance Group cycle 3 winners Jabba Wockeez and cycle 2 winners Super Crew.
G-Live: DAMN BABY (laugh) You had to use my government name, now all the ladies are gonna find me in the yellow pages and blow my phone up (laughs). Well, as a born rock star I’ve always taken interest in fashion and in style. I always had an eye for talent so for practice I have worked with some super models that needed a diverse portfolio. After that experience, taking pictures became as easy as riding a bike. My creativeness became the talk of the town because of the edgy shots that nobody wanted to do and Americaz Wild Child Photography was born. From my understanding last summer you were on tour in Australia, how did the crowd respond to your music? Holliwoodz: Well we haven’t gone yet, but we plan on going to Australia in a couple of weeks and I already know the crowd is going to be wild. In the meantime we organized the Holliwoodz Got's To Be Famous Best of the Best showdown. It was one of the biggest showcases to hit Central Florida which drew in 1500 people ranging from media, models and celebrities What are some of the projects you are working on? Holliwoodz: We’re working on the upcoming already rated 5mic's pre rock album remixed & revamped called “Demand Respect” which we are introducing a new genre to the world called SouthernRapRock! We got a single that's about to hit the air waves called "ONE LIFE" you can go to www.myspace.com/holliwoodzmusic or www. holliwoodz.com You can also Google the Holliwoodz and read up on us and our interviews as to why we’re an important factor in saving the music industry. Your fans are wondering when they can expect a video. Is this a marketing tactic to keep them waiting?

Holliwoodz: (laughs) Na we don’t tease we aim to please! We are expecting to drop the official remixed and revamped video called “Hit’em Where It Hurt's” in early May, this will be a world premier. Then we will be casting for “Holliwood Warriors” which is another remixed and revamped video demanded by the fans. Who would you say has been the most influential person(s) in the business thus far?

G-Live: James Brown, Jimmy Hendrix, Run DMC, Kiss, Red Hot Chillie Peppers, Eagles, Busta Rhymes, Lincoln Park, Beastie Boy's Michael Jackson
EGY: Naughty by Nature, Rakim, DMX, 2 Pac, Lil Wayne, Gucci Man, Outkast, Project Pat, Ludicrous, T.I. Cash Money IZAIAH: Boy's 2 Men, Usher, Brian McKnight, Prince, and of course Michael Jackson Many before you have tried to succeed in this music industry and have failed, what makes you different? Holliwoodz: Our passion, our strength and unity we have for one another. When it looks like someone is about to fall one of us is there to pick him back up, with that said our determination deteriorates all those who oppose us! WE’RE THE HOLLIWOODZ WARRIORS BAAABY! Now that you are on a label, the label at times selects the music, the look, the direction you are going to go. How much creative freedom do you have? Holliwoodz: In most cases that is very true they try to mold you like you are their puppet and they are the puppet master, but in our case we are very fortunate to remain the same. In a way it's a blessing or we would end up like all the others one's programmed like a machine to sound like your Eminem's or your Lil Wayne's or whoever is hot in the game. What words of advice do you have for up and coming artist Holliwoodz: We will like to say when the dark get's darker and the world seems like it's getting colder behind of all that mist faith will bring you through and your riches will be waiting for you, so with that said, don’t give up because he who gives up will end up stuck. Keep focused and your eyes on the prize and do everything yourself when you seem to rely on others then you’re walking blind in a world full of colors!
Any shout out and special thanks? Holliwoodz: Special shout out to everyone who love us and to everyone who hate on us! Special thanks to Sophisticated Black Hair Magazine we were in that and Riot Magazine, of course TalkofOrlando.com, Foreignity, FlyerPromoNow, Ozone Magazine, Russell Simmons for inviting us to rock fashion week in Miami. and to every fan that believes in what the Holliwoodz came to do and that's GET WICKED!
