De/a Vu In 92: Hey1 U/eVe seen these fellows somewhere before, haven't we? Or have we? Could it be De/a Vu?

Taps / 992, the Missouri Mili tary Academy yearbook, reflects countless hours of hard work, concentration, brilliant creativity, divine inspiration and the entire coordination of the Journalism staff and other numerous individ uals. We would like to thank those who offered their sound advice and invaluable efforts: Col. Charles Stribling III, Col. Ronald Kelly. Lt. Col. Frank Meredith and Maj. Samuel Saxon. Deja Vu in '92 also would not exist without the photography talents of Cpt. Willis Kleinsorge, Lt. Todd Greenberg. Lt. Chris Piccone. Dean Patrick, and cadets Sebastian Csaki, Lee Mer rill, Daniel Jung and Mark Thomas. Thank You!

From the Journalism staff, a very heartfelt thanks to Maj. Robert Fedora, who offered his time and photography skills to help capture the true essence of MMA.

Deja Vu In '92: Remember that “M" is for Moe ...or is it Missouri Military? ...or is it MClub? ....

Remember the very first time you open the 1992 edition of the Missouri Mili tary Academy yearbook, Taps, you will have experienced Deja Vu. Remember your slow realization that, yes, you have already experienced this year, when in reality, you will have experienced this year for the first time, from a haunting perspective you never thought possible. Remember that the journey you make today through your past is one that can never be repeated, and yet if you dare to make a return trip, that only an illusion of the experience will remain. Remember this time for it will truly be Deja Vu In '92.

Ignacio Ruizesparza UUUFFFI Three years at MMA sounds like 900 days of my life. I did more good things during this time than I did in my other 15 years, like studying and athletics I would need a hundred rolls of toilet paper to describe all the activities that I performed in this academy. So I think I'm going to have a good record in my future. I want to give thanks to all the faculty members for the help that I received for my preparation to go to college, especially my ESL teachers and Mrs Steinmetz. To the staff of the military department (Ssg. Ballesteros and Msg. Foxworth), thanks for your support in boxtng I really enjoyed the seasonl I had a lot of good experiences, and I also met many people from many countries. I learned English as a second language. I learned to travel by myself and I had several trips. Those are things that I'm never going to forget, thanks to MMA. Good luck to: Aragon. Lenor, Gonzalez De C., Samoto, Beverido. Del Valle. Berry. Luis Felipe Seldner Two years at MMA have made me gain knowledge of things I never realized before, such as the meaning of friendship and what being away from my loved ones means. There are two very valuable people in my life, and I owe everything to them. That's my Mother and my Father These two years have made me see a lot of things that I couldn't see before. One of those things is how great and valuable my parents are. These years weren't easy for me. but thanks to the help of my parents and my friends I did it. I would like to give special thanks to my parents for all the sacrifices and support that I have received from them. Thank you. I won't let you down. Alejandro Yaber When I came to MMA. I didn't know what it was going to be like. Then I realized that it was not that hard, and I set up sever al goals, and most of them were accomplished. So I learned that no matter how hard a task may be. you can always accomplish it with a lot of work and you should never give up. no matter what In these three years of my life. I learned a lot of things, and I think that MMA helped me to be more responsible, to mature, and to be motivated all the lime in order to obtain something proposed, and always with the support of my friends, and faculty members like Maj. Twells. Maj. Fedora. Lt. Greenberg. Lt. Col. Matlosz. Cpt. Treadway. Mrs Sanders, and Mrs Erdei. I want to give thanks to my father who wanted to give me a good education, supported me one hundred percent, and moti vated me whenever I had problems; and also to my mother and sisters. Thank you. CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF 1992

Man must overcome his need to be free, and replace it with a desire to achieve. Then he is truly free and the world is at his feet. Just as a soldier protects our freedom with self-sacrifice and hardship, we as individ uals must protect our future through hard work. The sacrifice becomes a great gift enabling us to rise above our past. You have learned this well through inspir ing dedication. We will always be grateful to MMA for the knowledge and examples they have set for you. We are proud of the exam ple you have been for others.

“Defa ‘Vcc When you see familiar faces But you don’t remember where they're from Could you be wrong? When you've been particular places That you know you've never seen before Can you be sure? Cause you know this has happened before You know this moment in time is for real And you know when you feel Deja Vu

(Feel like I’ve been here before ... ) Ever had a conversation That you realize you’ve had before Isn’t it strange? Have you ever talked to someone And you feel you know what’s coming next It feels pre-arranged Cause you know you’ve heard it before You feel this moment in time is surreal Cause you know when you feel Deja Vu

I

(Feel like I’ve been here before ... ) Feel like I’ve done this before Feel like I’ve seen this before It’s Deja Vu ’92 - forever more.
