The beautiful Miss Porter’s School campus is located in the historic village of Farmington, Connecticut, a thriving suburb with an excellent public school system. Porter’s has an abundance of local cultural and recreational opportunities including the Hill-Stead Museum, Farmington River, and several walking trails close to campus.

We are a walkable community with easy driving access to local restaurants, shopping, arts and culture, and nightlife. Farmington is a gateway to the rural areas of western Connecticut and southwestern Massachusetts which offer much for the outdoor enthusiast. We are near Hartford, and less than two hours to New York City and Boston. Porter’s is also close to the Hartford train station, and both Bradley/Hartford and New Haven (CT) airports for easy national and international travel.
