COMPLAINTS

DREAMS Provide a positive impact on the economy to allow sustainable growth considering post COVID-19

Design easier and effective waste management methods

Develop a technology or concept where dependency of locals external supports will be minimized

Develop programs for public awareness in this regard

Create a solution that could be used in other clean water deprived areas outside of our persona/target location as well

Suggest more accessible and affordable solutions

Unaffordability & inaccessibility

Poor waste management in regards to water sources

Tremendous wastage of water

Lack of awareness and education related to sanitary practices

Water pollution

Inadequate water treatment facilities

The water crises at large depends on many external variables such as politics and lack of governing Develop and design a system that wipes out the need to rely on filtration devices

7

WE KNOW

80% of waste goes into waterways without adequate treatment from household

Poor water treatment can cause negative economic and environmental impact

Polluted water can cause various health issues

8

WE DON’T KNOW

The increase number of waste dumped in water related to Covid19

The designated area, different area need different approach

How to directly approach this issue without repeating previous solutions effectively and efficiently

9

RESTRICTIONS

ULTIMATE GOAL To provide sustainable clean water while factoring in side benefits for the society and economy

high impact

Install a was te water purific ation system for ea ch household to purify wastewater

Create engineering program in plastics manufacturing and promote environmentalism

Simple machines with low cost and maintenance which would help recycling at home easier

Design a dedicated place in the impoverished areas for the whole community to recycle together ( Create a communal space).

Induct awareness campaign into education system

high applicability

less applicability develop rafts and boats with plastic using machinery that would further collect plastics and fulfill cargo demands

e Burn plastics but us g rin ptu ca n rbo ca technique and use d use captured smoke an fuel of rt so it as some into (and not releasing ) ere ph os atm

One time use, plaster of paris small molds could be used for furniture molds. Recycled plastic could be poured into it and then tear the outside layer away. Furniture parts could be assembled together afterwards.
