Seven Wonders of Guatemala clog everything you need to know

I constantly wonder what place I like better and I can never answer quickly ... I know that everyone has different taste, but having gone through all the departments of Guatemala, this is my recommendation for places that provide unique experiences, which I see at least once in life.

By: Explorer

Places to mention ... are simply many ... or a website or TV program could reach ...

Guatemala has so much to see that life sometimes does not seem enough. In the country there are still unexplored places and quite unknown routes.

Similarly, changing the country, either by climate or vegetation that sometimes gives a little bit to show what lies hidden. Many places were not included in this list of recommendations. Only seven have been selected for the average traveler ... Besides other havens could talk there is to know when you have really long and a 4x4 vehicle ... besides the jungle sections atravezarlo interest. It is difficult to choose between both ... as the Rio San Juan in Huehuetenango, Tajamulco Volcano, the caves of the Verapaz, Magdalena Lagoon or Laguna Brava, whole trekking trails, waterfalls and huge Urlanta or Chilasc贸, the highest in Central America ... etc ... but if you sort it and choose to plot an itinerary of seven targets only, these are the wonders that I can recommend that are affordable and easily with just a willingness to travel.

If you are interested in more information, you can use the site search engine to locate the notes. In each of these is detailed how each place and directions. There is no excuse to not know ...

The Top of the Cuchumatan

From the top you can contemplate the mountainous CADEMA and even part of Mexico, along with the curvature of the earth. Photo by Explorer.

It is the highest part of Guatemala is not a volcano. It reaches 4,000 meters above sea level. The agency says here the effects of altitude, but the view is breathtaking. After having seen many sunsets and sunrises, this place is stolen palms can observe the mountain from its summit. The weather is cold but the atmosphere is clean and clusters of people. It requires a 4x4 vehicle or excellent physical condition and patience to arrive. The landscape seen along the way from downtown to Los Cuchumatan Huehuetenango is also very different from all the country's topography and quite impressive.

The Summit of Mount Acatenango

The cloudscape from Acatenango is impressive, reaching to see even part of sea. Photo: Explorer.

It is the third highest volcano in Guatemala, located in Sacatepec, and the view from the summit provides a show without comparisons. No Cuchumatan racing is just different. From the top you can see the city of Guatemala, the sea, the curvature of the horizon, the volcanoes of Solola with the beautiful Lake Atitlan and Volcan de Fuego fascinating. Upload requires a physical condition pretty tune. Here also is evident to many effects of altitude.

Cenote Cimarron in Huehuetenango

In this round hole tremento with almost vertical walls, no roads to go down, TWICE fits Building of Public Finance.

Describing it is simply fulfilling the obligation of inclurilo on the list ... is frankly impossible to speak of a SO AWESOME. Neither the ingenious imagination could conjure the feeling of awe that it feels to be in your bank. It's a solid limestone hole in which fits Public Finance Building twice over each other. Huehuetenango is located in a semi-desert area, but in substance containing a cool forest. The only way down is with highly technical climbing equipment and climbing (to back out). The night on the shore gives a feeling of peace truly unmatched.

Playa Blanca in Izabal

Playa Blanca is a paradise ... Photo courtesy of www.fotosdeguatemala.com

It is a beach paradise with white sand, white ... the sea is very calm, no system has nothing to stain the panorama hotel or restaurant noise music. It is heaven (pun intended). There is peace, quiet, calm waters, pleasant climate without clusters of people. It makes a difference because we are accustomed to the dark sand beaches, which predominates in the country.

Tikal National Park

The view from the top Mayan temples is impressive. Photo courtesy of www.fotosdeguatemala.com

In PetĂŠn, northern Guatemala. Drive there worthwhile. A well-preserved jungle hides among its green color to the majestic Mayan temples, huge buildings that lead to another level the idea of the ancient civilization. Aside from the archaeological wealth (which in itself is huge), the natural wealth equals, with an varidad wildlife that surprises those who venture into it.

Although no longer as prevalent as before, those who are lucky have managed to hear or even see jaguars, cats characteristic of the region.

Lake Atitlan

A lake surrounded by volcanoes ... known for their beauty around the world. Photo by: Explorer.

It is certainly the most beautiful lake in the world ... It is surrounded by volcanoes and towns with different environments, from the excitement and revelry filled, such as religious and spiritual meditation centers. Its waters are clear and blue. Studies have shown that the water in the center exceeds 90% purity and drinkability. The sunrises and sunsets are truly a sight to see. The strange thing is that even when it's cold in the morning, in the early hours of the day, the water is warm and pleasant, not cold as you might think. Kayaking in the water is a delight. The "River that lies between the rock". It is a quiet resort, full of crystal clear pools and a pleasant climate. Swim or relax in its warm waters is very relaxing. It is located in Alta Verapaz and is one of the most visited places in Guatemala. There are nearby hotel infrastructure and ecotourism sites for camping (all inclusive), also enough place to camp with your own equipment. Magdalena Lagoon, in Huehuetenango, evokes the same cold weather paradise but without so many people, being a rather hidden.

Guatemala is a country that is very rich cultural, natural and historical. Their abundance in Natural Wonders, Historical and Archaeological has motivated me to make this list, the idea arises that I have to do a presentation on "The Great Cultural Diversity" which is my country and me has touched on Sites of Interest, which will make a ranking of the 7 most beautiful place s in my country.

Esquipulas officially Municipio de Esquipulas, whose original name was Yzquipulas2 is a municipality located in the department of Chiquimula in eastern Guatemala, the main city and capital of the municipality is the city of Esquipulas. This city is recognized as the main point of Central Catholic pilgrimage, as it is the place where they worship the Black Christ of Esquipulas. It is also one of the most important cities in the country and one of the most economic and cultural growth has tenido.3 In 2002 it was inscribed on the list of candidates for Guatemala for Heritage of UNESCO.4 It is a city that has a variety of tourist and religious sites, is the most visited city and town across the eastern Guatemala and the second most visited in the country, visited by an estimated four million tourists and devout Catholics anualmente.5 July 6 was the smallest town he visited Pope John Paul II in 1996 which entitled him recognition as "Central Capital of Faith", 8 whose recognition is as currently known to this city. SacatepĂŠquez Customs and Traditions

Dance giants in the street in front of the Cathedral in the main square to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi, Antigua Guatemala June 14, 1979. SacatepĂŠquez is one of the most dazzling Guatemala departments regarding oral traditions, not only for its unique geographical position but also for its extraordinary cultural heritage. Among the oral traditions, the legends of ghosts and psychic lost souls, as legend sombrerĂłn Moaning, rezadores, the hank, the headless priest. During the year, several festivals are held mainly traditional day Saints, Concepcion, Corpus Cristi, Christmas and New Year, and others, but with greater solemnity and religious fervor, commemorates the Passion of Christ during Holy Week featuring solemn religious ceremonies in Catholic churches and impressive processions through the city, whose streets are artistic carpets of flowers and colored sawdust to step beautiful images conducted by devotees. The predominant religion is Catholicism most established and tradition. It is located in the Central region of Guatemala. Bordered on the north, with the department of Chimaltenango, to the south, with the department of Escuintla, to the east, with the department of Guatemala and to the west, with the department of Chimaltenango. The provincial capital is 54 kilometers from the capital city of Guatemala.

Guatemala is full of places and wonders, but perhaps know how or where it originated, for all this originates from natural or artificial changes pueto humans throughout time have worked places for tourism or created naturally there are also how Chemuc Campey or places worked by men in ancient times as Tikal.

Guatemala City is a country of great natural beauty and ecological time is what currently not valued.
