Carmela Dell'Aria

I live in Italy. I graduated as an English teacher in 1990 and in 2007 I took my second degree in “Language Teaching Technologies” with a disputation about languages and technologies in the global school. I teach English in a secondary school, but I’m also a specialized teacher for students in special needs. I’m an Educator/technologist for a CALL Laboratory in a specialist course at the University in Palermo. In 1999 I was a reporter at the East Midlands Regional Training Network during my experience as an Italian language assistant at King Edward VII upper school in Melton Mowbray (UK). In 1990-92 I was a multiple-tasks staff member of ESF courses (in charge of course planning, tutorage and teaching, teaching consultant).I’m currently doing research on blended learning, videogames and social networks. I’m glad of working on educational projects in Second Life (LanguageLab educational project, Babel project, Virtlantis). I live fully, working, playing and socializing in RL and SL.
