* The amounts given are an approximation and the correct feeding rates will depend on the concentrate fed and the workload and make-up of the horse. Nutrient dense concentrates such as Munga, Promita, Athlete Plus or Impacta fed to suggested levels are ideal feeds to complement KR&R Oats & Corn in a ration. If feeding a complete feed, you will need to decrease the amount of KR&R Oats & Corn fed from the amounts given above. ** KR&R Oats & Corn is added to rations to provide energy. KR&R Oats & Corn is not a complete feed and should be fed in addition to an already balanced ration. The amount of KR&R Oats & Corn fed will depend on the condition, workload and make-up of the horse. *** When feeding roughage we suggest approx. 1/4 - 1/3 of the roughage should be legumes and 2/3 - 3/4 grass or cereal based. If pasture is available, additional hand fed roughage such as chaff and hay may need to be fed as the pasture levels fluctuate throughout the year.
