What?

A community of 12 micro dwellings with shared community facilities. Rear acces via Albert Lane CBC School opposite Park opposite N/E Channel 10 studios adjacent CBC School

Where?

Among the calm nature of Adelaide, my Micro Housing Community is situated at 331 Wakefield Street, a long narrow city block.

How?

This project will exploit the vast possibilities of prefabrication in order to act as example for other similar projects.

My dwellings aim to create a pleasant connection between the interior and exterior provided by window placement and dwelling layout. The dwelling encourages interaction with others as well as interaction with the dwelling itself; ladder and reclining net.

Provided within the dwelling is a bed, lockable bed side drawers, built in desk and single chair. Each dwelling has a w/c and basin with shower cubicals and laundry facilities povided in the community buildings. The commons building provides cooking, dining and lounge facilities and the community has a fruit and vegetable garden to be maintained to used extensively by the site’s occupants.
