Portland envisioned the Lloyd District with a distinct identity, an optimal network of shared building systems, and a variety of transportation options. Its goal was to add the key concepts of sustainability and achievability as a central part of the development strategies and recommendations for a central 35-block area of the district called Lloyd Crossing.
