Hope Houses at Hope Meadows | Rantoul, Illinois Located in the center of an intergenerational community, the Hope Houses preserve relationships between seniors and adoptive families, supporting aging in community as the elders’ health declines. Mithun led a design workshop to create this new model for replication at other intergenerational communities.

Villas at Miraval | Tucson, Arizona Miraval’s healing mission helps people balance their lives by living mindfully. Mithun created a master plan to align Miraval’s physical environment with its award-winning spa experience and expand services to include year round residences. Sixteen new single family villas combine the desert’s restorative properties with environmentally intelligent practices.

Inhabit Dexter: Modular Prefabricated Housing | Seattle, Washington

High Point Community | Seattle, Washington With a near epidemic of asthma, especially in low-income families, High Point is the first community in the United States to offer Breath-Easy Homes. Sixty residences minimize airborne particles and pollutants with tiered sustainable strategies. In the first year, participants experienced a 60 percent decrease in their need for emergency treatment.
