Property Management In MITIE’s Property Management division, our people are experts in all the main building trades, providing clients with all types of property services – everything from total fit-out, painting and roofing to on-going repairs. With a skilled and directly employed workforce of over 4,000 people nationwide, we provide a fully integrated, in-house approach to property management services. But what does this mean to you? It’s simple really. Instead of dealing with multiple contractors who each deliver an individual trade; at MITIE we have all the trades under one roof and can not only deliver the full suite of property services, but also manage entire projects. Our services in more detail 1 Roofing We offer a range of industrial roof replacement and refurbishment services including flat to pitch conversion, single ply roofing, felt roofing and liquid applied roofing systems. 2 Commercial interior fit-out Operating as management contractors, we specialise in the fit-out and refurbishment of offices. Whether it’s multi-million pound fit-outs or transforming an existing office space, we’re experts across the board. 3 Passive fire protection Our specialist team design, install and maintain all types of fire protection solutions to form fire-resisting seals, barriers, claddings and coatings for all kinds of buildings and structures.
4 Plumbing and heating Whether it’s for new build or social housing, residential or commercial buildings we install, repair and maintain plumbing and heating systems. 5 Refurbishment services With people who are skilled in all the main building trades and experts in managing refurbishment projects, we work with clients ranging from local authorities to commercial businesses to provide the full range of refurbishment services.

Mechanical and electrical engineering services From the drawing board through to delivery, installation and commissioning, we provide mechanical and electrical engineering services that focus on quality and efficiency.
9 Residential and new house fit-out With all the skilled building trades under one roof, our team can fit out new build homes and residential properties from plastering through to electrical works and decorative finishes. It all adds up to PropetyPlus.
7 Painting Working on fixed term contracts and single projects, our team paint a vast range of buildings and are experts in all types of specialist paint works.
10 Managed insurance services Working with insurance companies, we ensure repair and maintenance insurance claims are expertly managed from claim to completion through our ‘Surescope’ process.
8 Social housing property maintenance MITIE’s TotalCare offering for public sector landlords brings together our expertise and knowledge of working with people, the environment and buildings.
11 Energy services - CarbonCare Through MITIE’s CarbonCare offering we provide customers a full range of integrated services that help manage down their energy use. This could be simple ideas to reduce energy consumption, through to installing renewable energy technologies such as air and ground source heat pumps and photovoltaic solar panels.

The topics that matter to you ... Health and safety Health and safety is a top priority at MITIE. We set high standards and we expect everyone to play their part in maintaining them. That’s why we’ve created Work Safe Home Safe!, a programme to help us raise risk awareness, establish core health and safety values, encourage good practices, the right behaviours and stimulate a proactive safety culture. In MITIE’s Property Management division we have a dedicated resource of health and safety professionals who continually monitor our health and safety procedures and work hard to constantly improve them. We have a health and safety record to be proud of and all the required systems and processes in place to enable us to plan, monitor, communicate and review our management of health and safety.

All our people are fully qualified and have all the accreditations you can think of. We’re certified to OHSAS18001 and are members of CHAS, SAFEcontractor, Constructionline and the British Safety Council, to name a few.
Sustainability At MITIE, we believe that a more sustainable business is a better business. That’s why we’ve invested in seven MITIE Skills Centres across the UK, giving school children an introduction to construction and building skills on nationally recognised vocational courses. Last year we supported over 500 students in our Skills Centres and we currently employ 928 apprentices across our four divisions. Wherever we work, the local area is important to us and we’re totally committed to giving something back to the communities we work in. After all, it’s also where our people live and our teams work. From specifically targeting recruitment campaigns in the local area through to supporting local events and initiatives, we make sure we’re an active member of the community wherever we work, helping to create a better environment for residents. But our sustainability initiatives don’t stop there. We make sure our work causes minimal impact to the environment, uses minimal resources and our tight waste management procedures mean we recycle everything we possibly can.
