Kritisha’s venture, Dastaan, provides survivors of domestic violence with on-demand, on-the-go counselling and therapy using a program that emulates a Rogerian psychotherapist. Kritisha has been combatting violence against women in Inida for year, playing key roles in the #IWillGoOut Protest March of January 2017 to reclaim public spaces for women, and #ChalkTheWalk Campaign in 2018 to fight harassment of women through art-led community engagement.

Martin’s venture, Go-Aut, helps children realize their maximum potential by addressing their developmental disorders earlier. In Latin America, 1 in every 6 children require some kind of developmental aid to improve their development, but this help usually arrives too late. Martin aims to disrupt the early childhood healthcare sector in Latin America to have a lifelong impact on children’s and parents’ quality of life, required therapy, and out of pocket expenses.

Mohamed is a surgeon turned health-tech entrepreneur passion for improving global healthcare outcomes continues to place him at the intersection of technology, business, and medicine.

Sarah’s venture, Akūn, is a mobile-app suite of solutions that offers free mental health screening and support resources in Arabic and English. Rifky is the co-founder of Beirut, an art initiative and education-focused cultural space in Cairo between 2012 and 2015. Sarah holds an MFA in Critical Studies from the Malmö Art Academy and a BA in Visual Art and Journalism from the American University in Cairo and is currently a PhD Candidate in History, Theory, Criticism and the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at MIT.

Zahra’s background in product design, engineering and public health gives her the background to not only understand the root underlying issues, but to build solutions for them that can be brought to market.
