ISRA VISION SYSTEMS: Continued Sales Success in Area of Strategic Expansion

Another Major Order in the Display Glass Inspection Growth Market Darmstadt, March 9, 2006 – ISRA VISION SYSTEMS AG (ISIN: DE 0005488100), one of the leading suppliers of industrial machine vision systems, has closed a further major order in the rapidly growing market for FPD (Flat Panel Display) glass. One of the most prominent Asian suppliers has placed the order for FPD glass inspection systems worth 1.5 million euros. With this second major order within 11 weeks, ISRA has further significantly improved its market position in this strategic growth market. The systems are to be delivered in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2005/2006, and will therefore have an impact on turnover and operating results for that quarter. ISRA is one of the global market leaders in float glass inspection. In addition, the company is now focussing its expansion efforts on the key market of FPD glass. Winning these two major orders within a short space of time is confirmation that the company has chosen the right plan for expansion. The production of FPD glass grows significantly more than 25 percent annually. ISRA is currently strengthening its marketing activities in Asia with an experienced team based in Taiwan, since around 90 percent of the total worldwide production capacity for FPD glass is located in Asia. Therefore, ISRA has good prospects of profiting substantially from this dynamically growing market. By deploying its inspection systems in several stages of FPD glass manufacture, ISRA further underlines the broadened scope of its product portfolio in the field of FPD glass inspection with this new order, thereby developing additional potential for turnover.
