Turning light bulb into an inspirational art on designated model. Adapting and applying uniform of electric light showing in light bulbs on a shinning type of fabric which results in reflection that makes the fabric outshine. Also, it imitates how light creates shadow and gives dimensions to an object when light hit it.
DEEP DREAM Inspired by Junji Ito’s animation called Long Dream. It is about a man’s dream whose everyone of his dreams takes up from days to months or even years. His body gradually turns in to human stone while he is in a dream — the longer a dream takes ,the more human stone he becomes. Eventually, he , human stone ,would explode himself into small pieces
Corrosion occurs in natural process and its surrounding factor; for example, temperature, water, wind and rain. Outstanding natural corrosion attractions — such as the wave, Arizona, USA ; Ausangate, Peru; Zhangye, China; Three hole point,Alaska, USA; and Saodinnanoi, Nan, Thailand to name a few, has lead to this design project. After years of corrosion process, an awkwardly beautiful and colourful shape has been created. We, human, have recognized its beauty.
We, therefore, apply the corrosion process into textiles and garments. The corrosion technique is used to imitate corrosion action in the nature. As per this project, heat-set techniques is utilized. It requires time, heat and water in order to simulate and give the closet outcome to the natural process as seen in fabric pattern.
Hand-drawn layout on designated fabric is sharply cut by using laser cutting machine. This piece of design is also inspired by Victorian night dresses and nightgowns.
ESOTERIC
The design of the dress is a result of collage technique and a prefect fashion blend between Victorian gothic architecture and cuteness of a young Lolita girl
Applying and modifying original gothic glass design, commonly installed in most of gothic buildings, onto the top part of the dress in order to create shape and depth layout on it.
It lead to 3-D technique after gradual development. Moreover, bottom part of the dress is influenced by attractive stained glass in Victotian gothic church.
