MAKING ‘FREEDOM’ OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM

DURING THE MAKING OF THIS EXHIBITION PEOPLE WERE INVITED TO SHARE WITH US WHAT ‘FREEDOM’ MEANT TO THEM.

Responding to a carefully devised programme of workshops and community events, participants explored the meaning of Freedom through a multitude of creative practices.

Discussions inspired the visual results pictured here which helped shape the interpretation of the ‘Freedom’ Exhibition.

Thank you to everyone who generously donated their time and creativity to this project.
