WORKSHOPS
Leading up to this exhibition was a programme of creative activity that took place in and out of the museum. Engaging and gathering responses from a diverse range of people, informing and shaping to co-produce the exhibition. Ensuring their voices on causes and issues that matter to them were presented. Between 2019 and 2022 we ran 65 workshops and engaged with 1,356 participants.
People crafted protest slogans and symbols on to mini placards, made small and oversized protest badges, balaclavas, umbrellas, and seed bombs to bring life to non-green spaces around the city. Here are a sample of the colourful, poignant, playful responses.
