Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incoporated

Greetings Sorors,

It is with excitement, pride, and a heart to serve that I seek the office of International First AntiBasileus! Leadership plays a significant role in how we shape our Sorority for future success. Zeta's leaders must be ready and able to address the needs of our beloved Sisterhood while being change agents and charting our course as the premier global service organization dedicated to scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood. That starts with our MEMBERSHIP! As we move our Sisterhood forward, we need RELIABLE, IMPACTful, visionary, experienced, innovative, inspirational, and courageous leadership. I possess these leadership qualities, and I ask for your vote of confidence to serve as your next International First Anti-Basileus. Together, WE can RISE to the Next Level of MEMBERSHIP in our Sisterhood! I have been committed and dedicated to Zeta since my initiation in the Spring of 2000. Each of us has ZEAL a and a resounding love for Zeta Phi Beta. My love for our Sisterhood started as an impressionable child watching my neighbors, teachers, coaches, counselors, community leaders; friends of my mom, work in our community as members of this sorority. They recruited me to the youth Auxiliary, and as a an Amicette and I continued on as an Archonette during my high school years, where I continued to watch them as they performed community service, and mentored me, as a young lady of their youth auxiliary. I could not wait to grow up and model their behavior. It was on the campus of Rust College in Holly Springs, MS that I received the opportunity to go from a Girl to Pearls, as I was recruited by the best and the brightest on the campus, while mutually choosing ZETA! Since becoming a Zeta and serving in various roles on every level of the sorority. I have been a leader; and have constantly and collaboratively sought excellence. From leading an award-winning undergraduate chapter in the Great State of Mississippi, to seeking out ways to innovate, further exemplify and cultivate excellence as a graduate member, growing my award-winning chapter from six members to one of the largest in the state of Missouri; through effective and sustainable chapter management and genuine care of our MEMBERSHIP; a legacy of leadership that continues to RISE to new heights. My record of service demonstrates my lifetime commitment to our Sisterhood. My 22-year foundation. in Zeta showcases that, in the role of International First Anti- Basileus, I bring my ZEAL and love for Zeta, passion, energy, professional experience and willingness to do what it takes to ensure Zeta's relevancy, viability, SUSTAINABILITY and EXCELLENCE now and in the future. I welcome the opportunity to personally share my platform, experience and qualifications and ask that you share your insights with me. Please email me at Melissa@RISE1920.com, call or text at 816.875.ZPHI (9744) or via the "RISE UP" Community in the secure section of my website: www.RISE1920.com Password @RISE1920. I would be humbled and honored to have you join me on this campaign journey. My sorors, thank you for your consideration and support! Let’s RISE to the Next Level of MEMBERSHIP, together! Yours in Service & Sisterhood,

Melissa I. Walton-Jones 2022 Candidate for International First Anti-Basileus
