Message from MD & CEO

Dear junctionites, W e stand at the threshold of ending yet another exciting financial year which was full of new opportunities, new challenges and new hopes. While we will look back at FY20 in great detail in our next issue, I would like to focus on some of our achievements in the third quarter in this issue.

In FY20, we are well on our way to setting up our own tea e-marketplace at Jorhat in Assam. e-marketplaces are here to stay and by all accounts, will be an integral part of our future. A major milestone in this journey was achieved when the e-registration portal for the marketplace was launched. mjunction is building this e-marketplace to help the industry get better price discovery and achieve better efficiency in buying and selling. We are investing in a warehouse at Jorhat to make fresh tea from Upper Assam available to the buyers. Our technology platform will efficiently connect the sellers and buyers, financiers and transporters.

Our focus on entering and making our mark in new categories continues – and in this quarter we entered the petrochemical sector when it received its first mandate to sell Hydrogenated Pyrolysis Gasoline (HPG) from Brahmaputra Cracker & Polymer Pvt Ltd in Assam. Every new category in our kitty helps us to extend transparency and efficiency in that segment.

While we continue on our business growth path, I would like to make special mention of our CSR efforts, which continue to touch lives in remarkable ways. Project Jyoti, our project involving visually-challenged students of Chhattisgarh, continues to gain accolades and recognition. The latest is a case study on the project that has been accepted by an acclaimed international journal that is well respected in the academic circles. We plan to soon begin on the next phase of this project, and make a sustainable impact on several such lives. Regards,

Mr Vinaya Varma

Ford’s wise words beautifully sums up the story of mjunction. Transforming a thought into India’s largest ecommerce company took just the above three steps. Junctionites came together, kept together and worked together to script this beautiful story of mjunction, which has now become a case study at the Ivy Leagues.

Together we can do amazing things. Explore the unexplored. Imagine the unimaginable. Question the unquestioned. And make the impossible possible. It is this virtue of togetherness that we nurture at mjunction, because whatever we are, it is because of the people of this organisation. Together we have been doing great things for our clients, buyers and suppliers. Delivering useful solutions to problems that matter and we will keep doing so because Together is Beautiful.

We have together crossed every milestone and overcome every challenge, no matter how formidable they ever looked. From creating innovating outcomes to e-marketplaces, we have together ensured that our customers can conduct their businesses in the most transparent and efficient manner.

Since inception, junctionites have always stood together with an eye on our mission ‘to make the world a better place.’
