mjunction welcomes its new CEO Mr Vinaya Varma took charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of mjunction services limited on September 1. Mr Varma is one of the core members of the founding team at mjunction and has been closely associated with most significant ventures at the organisation for the last 15 years. He has held significant positions and portfolios at mjunction, and his last held position was that of the company’s Vice President. Mr Varma is a strong believer in the power of e-commerce and is committed to build efficient, effective and transparent supply chains. Dear junctionites, As I begin my new innings at mjunction, I could not have perhaps asked for a better time. The company is on a roll right now and FY16 has ended on a significantly positive note, with both its topline and bottomline showing healthy growth. The mature businesses have consolidated their positions and new businesses are picking up pace really fast. We can also finally claim to be a true pan India organisation, with all regions contributing significantly to our revenue and our growth. With B2B e-commerce slowly and surely making its presence felt, mjunction is at the juncture of exciting times ahead. However, in this euphoria, I want to sound a word of caution. Often the seeds of downfall are sown when the going is good and we cannot afford to be even slightly complacent at this point. mjunction has never rested on its laurels and it will not do so now. It has always stood for quality service and commitment to its clients and it will be unwavering in that respect. While our mature businesses such as metaljunction and coaljunction have provided the
backbone of our performance over the years now, our emerging and nascent businesses have soared higher and higher each year. Thus, businesses such as tea buying and selling, online ocean vessel chartering and Aggregated buying of MRO items are just a couple of years old, but have ably provided the wind beneath mjunction’s wings.
requisitions as well as promises to our clients. Our platforms and applications should be more userfriendly and provide a superior experience to all our users. Our services should make our customers’ lives easier and smoother. The operations part should be hassle-free and last mile delivery should be an integral part of all our services.
Having said that, I believe the best is yet to come. Technology is changing every day and e-enabled services are penetrating every sphere of consumer life – of individuals and of businesses.
The B2B space is competitive, and by focusing on innovation, speed, capability building and customer centricity, we are well positioned to compete.
B2B e-commerce is also standing at a crucial juncture, and with customers looking for complete solutions, mjunction continues to walk that extra mile to give them a holistic end-to-end solution, giving them the optimum mix of offline and online solutions. Empowering them with knowledge and holding their hand till delivery – that has been mjunction’s mantra and will continue to be so.
e-commerce, undoubtedly, will remain one of the government’s focus areas as a means to root out corruption on one hand and to increase efficiency on the other. The role of technology will keep increasing and what we see today is a miniscule fraction of what is to follow in the next ten years. The mood is upbeat and mjunction can only gain from it.
We have come this far by focusing on creating value for our customers and providing them a higher level of satisfaction. We will continue our focus on that, which should translate into a responsive help desk, timely execution of mandates and customer
