Sugar gliders that live in the wild do so in tree settings.The sugar glider live in New Guinea, Indonesia and Australia. For free-roaming sugar gliders live in the range of 5 to 7 years old.


Sugar Gliders have a pouch on their belly where they raise their babies for two and a half months after they are born. Young are attached to the teat for 40 days, and emerge at 60-70 days. After emerging young are left in a nest for a further 50 days. Young will then forage with their mother until they are 7-10 months old.


Sugar glider is an omnivore (it eats plants and animals). It also consumes tree sap, flowers and nectar Sugar gliders are very social and need and crave lots of companionship. Sugar gliders have 2 young per litter and can have 2 litters per year.




Lions are the second largest big cat species in the world. Lions are very social compared to other catspecies, often living in prides that feature females, offspring and a few adult males. Lions in the wild live for around 12 years.


The roar of a lion can be heard 5.0 miles away. Lions can reach speeds of up to 81 kph (50 mph) but only in short bursts because of a lack of stamina.
