LAYERED MAP SITE ANALYSIS

Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States has been in many ways forgotten by the main land. The infrastructure is in poor condition and many buildings have been abandoned. 1 in 10 buildings is vacant at the present moment. Many of those are elementary schools. among the struggles that the island is facing is a water quality problem. There are several super fund sites, along with coal burning plants that have exacerbated the problem.

This layered analysis was to gain an understanding of what water quality issues were present in relation to the Catano Site which sits next to a nature preserve.
