The Rose Hotel The Rose Hotel is a new build concept for a four story boutique hotel. Location is in “The Pearl” of the Rosemont area of Illinois. “The Pearl” is a new development for the city that includes a new music venue, two top restaurants, new sports complex and the new boutique hotel. This is the only nonbranded hotel in the area. Design scope was to provide full design services and construction management for the four story hotel. Concept was based on art and providing a travel alternative to business travelers while providing a unique experience to extended stay guests. Included model room and public area. Hotel is due to start construction in March of 2017. Collaborated with the private owner, F&B consultant, lighting consultant, and the AOR to bring the design concept within budget and on schedule. Red Lion Hotel Chain center
Red Lion Hotel Chain (RLHC) is a pacific northwest based hotel chain with all of their locations currently west of the Mississippi river. Expanding to a national presence was inclusive of 3 different brand levels – inn & suites, mid-level, and a 3 star level. The challenge was to develop 3 different concepts under the same brand umbrella. Design scope included conceptual design through design documentation, millwork, finishes, and artwork. Collaborated with RLHC team to develop three individual brand level concepts. Implemented design concepts into a corporate design center in Denver where all three model rooms were represented. Center worked with potential and existing franchisees to implement the brand across the country. Westin Chicago Northwest The Westin Chicago Northwest is an existing 400 plus guestroom hotel the office park of Itasca, IL. The Hotel underwent a brand renovation which started in October 2015. The public area includes and entire floor of meeting space, three ballrooms and 2 restaurants. The design scope included concept through construction administration. The team worked with Starwood to bring the outdated property up to Westin’s current brand standards. Collaborated with GF Hotels, Brand, F&B consultant, and the AOR to refurbish the property. Barneys NY
COOP Barneys NY is a two story 9000 square foot retail boutique located in the heart of South Beach, Miami, FL. This was the first location for the retail boutique outside of the parent store Barneys New York. Scope was to design a prototype concept that could be rolled out across the country. Provided design through construction management along with fixtures, furnishings, signage and visual merchandising. Collaborated with Barneys NY in house store planning team and merchandisers to design and develop the new concept for the emerging brand. Aurora, IL.
Elie Tahari retail outlet 3500 square foot store. Prototype for a 12 outlet roll out. This was the first outlet location for the designer Elie Tahari. Scope was to design a prototype concept that could be rolled out across the country. Provided design through construction management along with fixtures, furnishings, signage and visual merchandising. Collaborated with Elie Tahari and merchandisers to design and develop the new outlet concept for the well known brand. Indonesia
Parisian Department Stores set forth an aggressive expansion of 7 locations in 2007. Taman Anggrek, Indonesia was the first location and prototype to be constructed in 2008. This 48,000 4 level department store was the anchor of the Galleria Mall. The other 6 were rolled out thereafter. The design scope included a prototype concept that could be rolled out in the Indonesia market. Provided conceptual design, architectural coordination, branding concepts, material reference and sourcing. Team presented to a group of 100 employees which included an interpreter. Club Nikita
Dallas, TX
Club Nikita is a restaurant nightclub in one of the first outdoor lifestyle malls in Dallas, TX. The 850 square foot restaurant is located on the top level and the 2500 square foot clubroom is in the basement. The concept was based on the “Russian Underground”. Scope included conceptual design through design documentation, millwork, finishes, and artwork. Collaborated with R3 team to develop the concept. Included a 25’ long bar, custom built vodka cabinet, and sunken living room feel for the lounge. Project Role: Project Designer Owner/Client: R3 With: Knauer Inc. Status: completed 2002

Watertown Watertown is a four story 1200 unit rental property in Watertown, MA (Boston Area). The building sits on 1 city block. The demographic is late 20’s to early 40’s professional elite of Boston. Design scope was to provide full design services and construction management for the 6800 square foot amenity space. Contract included design concept through construction administration and installation of the FF&E package. Collaborated with the owner builder and architectural team to bring the project from concept through completion. Project Role: Senior Designer Owner/Client: Mill Creek Residential Trust LLC With: Childs Dreyfus Group Status: completed 2014 Overall FF and E Budget: $220,000 (projected)
