IN MEMORIAM

JAMES GILBERT FARMER Class of 1962

MARY ESTELL ANDERSON Class of 1962

They passed, And in the glory of their path The world lay brighter for theft smile. Tired faces soon became aglow When they were there a little while. They passed We do not know God's holy plan, We only know truth one thing: The blessing of those years gave us A glimpse of God's eternal Spring.

SUPERINTENDENT, JULIAN D. PRINCE

A builder builded a temple; He wrought with care and skill; Pillars and groins and arches Were fashioned to meet his will; And men said when they saw its beauty: "It shall never know decay. Great is thy skill, 0 Builder, Thy fame shall endure for aye." A teacher builded a temple; She wrought with skill and care; Forming each pillar with patience, Laying each stone with prayer. None saw the unceasing effort; None knew of the marvelous plan; For the temple the teacher builded Was unseen by the eyes of man. Gone is the builder's temple; Crumbled into the dust, Pillar and groin and arches Food for consuming rust; But the temple the teacher builded Shall endure while the ages roll; For that beautiful, unseen temple Was a child's immortal soul.

ALMA MATER All hail to our dear Alma Mater; Fairest of all is her name. Standing in state on a hilltop, Proud of her colors and fame. As staunch as a rock she has led us. Through the great days of our youth. This be our watchword for aye, Alma Mater: Duty and Honor and Truth.
