FestivalSouth®, the largest project of the Hattiesburg Concert Association, is a multi-week, multi genre arts festival that presents culturally enriching performances, exhibits, and activities for cultural tourists and Mississippi residents. Presented in venues throughout Hattiesburg, FestivalSouth provides variety programming to serve our diverse community.

FestivalMusic and FestivalHeadliners feature some of the greatest stars of our time as well as our own Meistersingers Civic Chorus. Artie Events for Families, Artie Reads, Festival Z Events for Teens, and the FestivalSouth Youth Ambassadors keep our young audiences in mind, offering educational programming that inspires and nurtures a love for the arts. Other series include the FestivalSouth Film Expo, FestivalDance, FestivalArt, FestivalSpeaks, a lecture series, and other special events, FestivalSpeaks including our FestivalShares partnerships with local nonprofits, including the Dog Days Festival5k and the FestivalSouth International Golf Championship. The Best of the Pine Belt, promoting our area’s businesses and people, has become a regional favorite locals and tourists alike. The FestivalSouth Chamber Music and Orchestral Academy is one of our largest educational outreach efforts.

FestivalSouth supports 11.3 total jobs as, generating $250,000 for labor income. FestivalSouth generates $250,000 in added labor income annually, $230,000 in value added, and $801,000 of output to the economy. The total value added to the economy through initial industries and their supply chains is more than $395,000.
