William H. Parrett, Ph.D., is director of the Center for School Improvement and Policy Studies and a professor of education at Boise State University. He has received international recognition for his work in school improvement and alternative education, as well as for his efforts to help youth at risk and underachieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
