Rebecca DuFour, M.Ed., is the co-author of three books with Bob Eaker and Rick DuFour and is featured in the Video Journal series, Elementary Principals as Leaders of Learning. As an elementary principal, she helped her school earn state and national recognition as a model professional learning community. She has written for numerous professional journals, writes book reviews for the Journal of Staff Development, and authors a quarterly column for the NAESP’s Leadership Compass.

During his tenure as the principal of Adlai Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, from 1983 to 1991 and as Robert Eaker, Richard DuFour, superintendent of the Rebecca DuFour district from 1991 to 2002, Stevenson became “one of the most recognized and celebrated schools in America” (United States Department of Education). Dr. DuFour is the author of seven books, three video resources, and over forty professional articles.
