Babu Krishnamoorthy

Babu Krishnamoorthy is the founder & Chief Sherpa at Finsherpa Investments Pvt Ltd., a boutique wealth management firm based in Chennai catering to financial needs of High Networth Clients in India & abroad.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Babu has over 25 years of expertise in areas related to finance and money management. Prior to starting Finsherpa, Babu has cofounded Pelican Wealth and been associated with Allegro Capital, a leading Investment banking and wealth management house.

A passionate thought leader in the personal finance space, Babu has authored the bestselling book “Unlock Secrets to a Wealthy Life” which helps young adults to start their investing journey in a methodical manner. As a professional speaker, Babu speaks on subjects relating to investment and finance.

Babu is an avid reader of non-fiction books and is an amateur marathon runner. Babu is an active Rotarian and is a part of the Rotary Club of Madras East ( RCME) where he is involved various society uplifting projects.

A Past President of IFA GALAXY (one of India’s oldest and leading associations for Mutual Fund Distributors (MFDs) ), Babu has been at the forefront of helping the MFDs navigate themselves to a better place. During his presidency, he got 25 fellow distributors to co-author a book called STAY HUNGRY, STAY BULLISH, on how to build a Robust Mutual Fund Distribution Business.

Chandrashekar Kupperi

Shekar is an experienced professional with nearly two decades of diverse sector expertise in FMCG, Life Insurance, Audit & Assurance, and Oil & Gas industries. Previously, he served as th Group Finance Director at Lornamead Group, a UK-based multinational FMCG company th owns popular personal care brands. Shekar also held finance and audit positions at promine organizations like ExxonMobil and KPMG in India. With a strong focus on FMCG mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Shekar has led or been involved over 11 acquisitions and 4 divestments across North America, Europe, and India. His expertise M&A motivated him to establish ANOVA Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd., an advisory firm offerin M&A advisory, fundraising, business valuation, financial modeling, pitch deck preparation, an strategic CFO services. ANOVA operates across various sectors and has completed notab transactions, including the divestment of Novascotia Boutique Homes to OYO Rooms, t divestment of Helicord Transmissions to Megadyne Group, fundraising for Bellatrix Aerospace, and due diligence for endorsements by Shri. M.S.Dhoni (MSD) in Shaka Harry and Rigi. Beyond his corporate endeavors, Shekar is an active angel investor with investments in over 30 startups. He serves as a non-executive director in mid-sized companies in India and abroad. Additionally, he has invested in early-stage VC funds and institutional angel investment platforms. Recently, Shekar launched the Peaceful Progress Fund, a SEBI registered angel VC fund that has already invested in 11 startups and continues to seek further investment opportunities. Shekar holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, and Company Secretary. He has achieved remarkable accolades throughout his career, including awards for excellence in cost management and recognition for his contribution during the divestment of Lornamead Group to Li Fung. Shekar is a member of prestigious professional institutions and has pursued an MBA and Senior Management Certification program to augment his skills.

Rajesh Devaraj

Rajesh has over 2 decades of experience in top management roles in the Textile Industry both as a manufacturer and trader. He is the co-founder of Uniform Craft Pvt Ltd, a company which pioneered the stock and sell format of offering Garments with customised fabrics to the healthcare vertical in India.

Rajesh is an engineer by education with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He strongly believed as a young engineer that management is for dummies only to learn the hard lesson that it was not. He took several "smart" decisions which led to a business collapse and bankruptcy that took a whole 4 years to come out of in the late 90's. Having emerged wiser, has been a big believer and practitioner in consistency, focus and seeking the compounding effects over a long period of time.
