Mr Ramesh Subramanian Having completed a UCLA Anderson Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives (UCLA PGPX) (USA), Ramesh Subramanian is a MLEâ„ member of Leaders Excellence at Harvard Square (USA) as well as a Leaders Excellence Certified Leader. He also holds a Certificate in Business Acumen from INSEAD. Starting out with modest foundations in life, he is an exstudent of The Assembly of God Church in Kolkata, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School & Loyola College in Chennai. Born and raised in Kolkata, hailing from Kallidaikuirchi, a quaint village in Tirunelveli district, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, moved to Chennai three decades ago. With more than 20 years of experience in companies such as Ernst & Young, Ford, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Renault Nissan, etc., primarily in the realm of finance & accounting in various capacities. Gaining a rich understanding of leadership, values, communication and people management helps tackle different spheres with ease. It is the myriad experiences in the professional journey that are being relied upon in this book.

Mr Ramakrishnan Ramiah An industry professional with more than 40 years’ experience with leading organizations and across product categories like pharmaceuticals, agricultural inputs, light engineering, agroindustrial and FMCG. One year as a business consultant for a California based entrepreneur. Organizations worked for include Alembic Chemicals, Shaw Wallace, Voltas, Rhône-Poulenc, Amrutanjan, Coromandel Indag. Core competency areas are marketing, HR, and strategy management. By qualification, a Biological Science graduate and PGDM in Business & Industrial Management and a PGDM in Advertising & Public Relations. Seamless transition from industry to management teaching in business schools since 2006. Subjects: Marketing, HR, Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Business Communication. Have had the opportunity to visit more than 60 colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science) to talk to students on employability, soft/life skills. Trained more than 2000 students and continuing this activity. Associated with a start-up, Healthcare Academy, handling healthcare management related topics and coordinating workshops/seminars in healthcare on key healthcare issues.

Mr N S Sivaraman Mr. N.S. Sivaraman is a Mechanical Engineer (1964-69) with two PG Diplomas in Industrial Management from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and Research Institute for Management Science, Holland. Mr. Sivaraman has about 43 years of experience in various areas – Management Consultancy, Materials Management, Personnel & HRD, Manufacturing and General Management. After about 1-1/2 years in Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad, he joined Larsen & Toubro Limited in the year 1972 as a Post Graduate Trainee. He became Vice President (Industrial Machinery) in 2005. He was later responsible for the creation of a Greenfield Shipyard & Port at Kattupalli near Chennai and retired as Vice President (Special Projects) in April 2011. He was then a Consultant to L&T until March, 2013. He was a participating member of a Research Study by MIT, Boston, USA in association with PMI (Project Management Institute), USA on Engineering Programme Excellence during 2012-13. He was the Chairman of the Chennai Branch of Indian Institute of Materials Management, Chennai Branch, during 1984-85. He was awarded the Distinguished Membership of the Institute during the year 2001. He was a Guest Faculty at Indian Institute of Materials Management, Madras Management Association and Indira Gandhi National Open University in various subjects like Materials Management, Operations Research, Industrial Relations, etc., for almost 15 years. He has taught Business Ethics to the MBA students of Madras University in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. He was associated with the Rotary Club of Madras Porur as Charter Secretary and was President of the Club during 1996-97.
