ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. S. Krishnasamy has served as the Member-Secretary of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education (TANSCHE), where he played a pivotal role in shaping higher education policies in the state. His responsibilities included advising on academic programs, ensuring quality assurance, and promoting research and innovation across Tamil Nadu's higher education institutions. Dr. S. Krishnasamy is also a notable author. Among the numerous books he has penned, the book titled “Pachaiyappan Kaloori Sadanaiyalargal” (Noted Personalities of Pachaiyappa’s College), highlights the achievements of illustrious alumni of Pachaiyappa’s College. Dr. Krishnasamy, in his work, highlights a remarkable historical detail about Pachaiyappa’s College: during the early 1940s, the British repurposed the college as their administrative headquarters for nearly four years. This underscores the institution's prominence, not only as a center of academic excellence but also as a site of historical importance.
