DALLAN® D6 integrated production systems for Premium Rolling Shutters. Dallan company is highly specialized in rollforming machines and lines for foam-filled aluminum rolling shutters. Being specialists in light-gauge and delicate materials, we have developed a comprehensive offer of advanced solutions for the production and packaging of first class rolling shutters, made in pre-painted aluminum (or steel) and filled with PU polyurethane foam. The rolling shutters must operate and maintain functionality during the entire lifecycle of the window, opening and closing at least once per day: Dallan advanced technologies guarantee you excellent result.

DALLAN ADVANCED SYSTEMS COIL TO slat

The system that includes the rollforming and punching equipment for the production of cut-to-length and punched rolling shutters slats.

The stand alone system that starts from the package of cut-to-length and punched slats and assembles the finished curtain, automatically blocked with plastic caps or with a special processing of the two edges.

COIL TO WINDOW The complete system joins the rollforming and punching equipment to high speed assembly devices. It’s outcome is a completely finished rolling shutter.

MORE THAN 300 MODELS ROLLING SHUTTER PROFILES

Dallan currently has a database of more than 300 models of standard profiles from 14mm to 100mm height, to which 20 to 30 new shapes are added every year. Each profile is a top quality one, meeting all our customers and their markets different requirements, from the optimization of material width to the light control, shading, rigidity and profile aesthetic.

DALLAN TECHNOLOGY FOR EXCELLENCE When we study a rolling shutter profile, we rely on precisely defined design parameters (exclusive to Dallan), which ensure optimum closing and winding, silent operation, light control and extreme rigidity: results of the continual winding and unwinding tests show that the life expectancy of profiles made with DALLAN machines is twice that of profiles with similar characteristics made with other types of machines. The production of the highest quality slats is the starting point for the Dallan production systems. Depending of the application, Dallan customers can choose between two possible line completions: Coil To Package and Coil To Window.

The systems starts from a coil of painted aluminium. The decoiler can be simple (max bearing 2000 Kg) or double (max bearing 2000 + 2000 Kg)

Dallan T4 precision rollformer is endowed with the Dallan patented COMBI system which allows the quick change of production between two or more profiles. The production speed of the rollformer depends on the model system and the curtain production, it can reach a production speed of 60 m/min.

The heart of a quality blind curtain is the experienced design and rigidity of the slat, as well as the accurate finishing of the set of rollers in high alloy steel.

The DALLAN rollforming systems and lines for PU-foamed rolling shutter blinds D6 series, are Dallan professional range featuring speeds up to 60 meters per minute. They produce rolling shutter slats in aluminum and steel up to 100mm height and containing both low and high density PU polyurethane foam.

The foaming system mixes two components which, together, form the polyurethane foam. This machine is connected to the Dallan速 rollformer in a completely automatic cycle. It is complete with a cartesian robot arm controlling the position of the foaming injection point. Before the profile is cut, the polymerization benches provide the time for the foam curing.

The flying sawing system is connected to the rollformer and to the production speed with a completely automatic cycle. It cuts slats in the standard format or in the exact length that is used to form the curtain.

After the profile is cut to length, it is conveyed to the punching unit. This machine punches the ventilation holes in the slat hook, and it allows the precise positioning of each set of holes.

The D6 stack device is the ideal solution to insert the slats into another for cut to length and height curtains. It is included in the D6TL system, and it can be an optional for D63, D610 and D6M systems.

The DALLAN D63 rollforming systems for PU-foamed rolling shutter blinds are Dallan professional systems reaching a production speeds of 37 meters per minute. They produce rolling shutter slats in aluminum and steel up to 55mm height, with both low and high density PU polyurethane foam.

Rolling Shutter curtain: Coil To Window patented assembly system without caps The DALLAN D6TL complete system produces rolling shutter curtains directly from the aluminium or steel coil. It is suitable for roller shutter profiles up to 55mm. The system is patented by Dallan and involves a machining process on both ends of the profiles, which is then hidden by the guides. The line operates at a speed of 20 pieces a minute with the approximate output of one window every 2 minutes.

Professional rollforming system for high productivity and excellent quality slats for rolling shutter profiles up to 55mm height The DALLAN D610 rollforming systems for PU-foamed rolling shutter blinds, are Dallan professional systems reaching a production speeds of 60 meters per minute. They produce rolling shutter slats in aluminum and steel up to 55mm height and containing both low and high density PU polyurethane foam.

Foamed roller shutter doors up to 77mm HEIGHT Foam-filled roller shutter doors basically operate in the same way as a rolling shutter blind and are mainly used as garage doors. The profiles are made with aluminium and steel and usually filled with polyurethane foam. These machines have more stations so that larger profiles from 55mm up to 77mm can be manufactured. Suitably accessorised, this line can also make traditional rolling shutter profiles with the addition of a punching machine and a stacking table.

D6100

Foamed roller shutter doors up to 100mm HEIGHT This line is the DALLAN system producing extremely rigid and highstrength aluminium or steel profiles for industrial doors up to 12 meters span opening. The 100mm foamed roller shutter door profile is the intermediate solution between the 77mm profile and the sectional door. It is stronger than the 77mm profile and has the advantage, over the sectional door, of not requiring ceiling-mounted mechanisms.

15 The D6T is an add-on system that can be applied directly after the DALLAN D63 line. This assembly table receives the cut-to-size assembled rolling shutter curtain and feeds it into the mobile dual head system. There are two complementary systems: the D6T for profiles with both soft foam (up to 70kg per cubic meter) and the advanced system for profiles with soft and rigid foam.

Slat to Window assembly system with plastic caps

Dallan D6TX is the high speed stand alone automation that, starting from a pre-cut package of slats or from a rolled curtain, produces a finished curtain complete with plastic side caps. This system is suited to all Dallan customers that wish to increase the automation of their production department, and to all the companies that start from the packages of slats to manufacture the finished curtains. In the supply of the D6TX machines, Dallan includes the design service for the plastic caps that are just right for the customer’s profiles.

COIL TO PACKAGE

19 The D6 stack is the ideal solution to insert the slats into one another for cut to length and height curtains. When stacking 6 or 7 meters long slats, it stacks groups of 5 profiles one on top of the other. Every dimension of profile requires special grippers and have to be ordered together with the set of rollers.

The DALLAN D6SK can be applied after the D610 lines to increase the production automation: system receives the formed package or bundle and conveys it towards a first packaging machine where it is wrapped in film. Lastly a palletizing robot stacks various layers into suitable metal pallets, which can be sent directly to the warehouse. Length of the system: 7 m

Tubes for rolling shutters and awnings: D18 range SYSTEMS The machines for the rolling shutter tube profiles are the T4 and T5 systems, sized according to the profile to be produced.

The DALLAN D18 line is the ideal continuous operation rollforming system for the manufacture of 40, 60 and 70mm octagonal tube profiles in 6-meter long bars or cut to size. The DALLAN D181 system also has a numerically controlled punching carriage allowing multiple and parameterized processes to be carried out on the profile so that the assembly lines may be fed regularly in continuous operation.

Rolling shutter box profiles: Dallan D73 flexible rollformers for all box sizes The profile for the rolling shutter box is a technical profile and allows access to the space where the shutter roller is placed. Nowadays the market demands to this profile not only excellent operation but also aesthetical perfection. The rolling shutter box exists in various sizes, depending on the roller diameter and can have various shapes: bent at 90°, at 45°, round and half round. With the DALLAN DUPLEX D73 system, rolling shutter boxes of different widths can be manufactured on the same machine by simply increasing the distance between the toolheads with which the edges of the coil are formed to make the connecting edges of the boxes. The forming is then completed with the automatic bending and straightening machine D73RP to obtain the finished product ready for installation.

SOFTWARE

Dallan’s team of seven software engineers constantly develop the software for the configuration and production of the Rolling shutters profiles. The software can deliver easy pre-set configurations and can be also customized to each customer’s requirements.

The process tables and job lists can be received from existing ERP software via Ethernet or via an USB key. Our advanced graphic software makes it easy for the operator to intervene in each single part of the machine. With the UBIQUITY remote service, and a simple Internet connection Dallan, software and electrical engineers can intervene remotely and be on your side whenever it is required.
