HISTORY

MISSION

Dalla sua nascita l’azienda MECO ha vissuto pienamente l’evoluzione industriale che ha caratterizzato lo sviluppo economico del nostro paese dagli anni ‘70. Un percorso che gli ha permesso di acquisire nel tempo macchinari e attrezzature utili a realizzare interamente il ciclo produttivo dei propri prodotti. Il denominatore comune nel tempo è stata la ricerca di una qualità che consenta una indiscutibile sicurezza e durevolezza del prodotto, prediligendo la solidità alla pura estetica. Nel corso dell’ultimo decennio l’azienda ha ampliato la propria offerta realizzando una gamma completa di prodotti, in conformità all’idea di contract totale dello spazio ufficio. Ovviamente tale evoluzione ha necessariamente imposto una maggiore sensibilità progettuale ed estetica, più vicina all’arredo casa, con l’introduzione del concetto di arredo su misura, l’inserimento di nuovi colori e finiture. Inizia un processo evolutivo nuovo per l’azienda che con il consenso del mercato sposta l’interesse dalla standardizzazione industriale, alla personalizzazione estetica e funzionale del prodotto secondo le necessità della propria clientela. La scelta di un orientamento “su misura dell’utente” ha imposto una inevitabile rivoluzione organizzativa dell’azienda che si è strutturata allo scopo di accompagnare nel suo evolversi l’idea del cliente, adeguandola agli standard tecnici, normativi e di produzione. Questo è reso possibile da una stretta collaborazione tra le diverse professionalità, interne al team progettuale, che gestiscono la delicata fase di traduzione dell’idea in vero prodotto. Inoltre il contatto diretto del gruppo progettuale al ciclo produttivo, consente una verifica immediata sulla fattibilità di un progetto ed il suo controllo costante nelle fasi realizzative.

L’attività del fare umano nasce storicamente dallo stimolo di soddisfare le proprie necessità. Queste ultime, nel corso del tempo, si sono modificate in conformità all’evolversi del pensiero umano. La prima necessità del costruire per trovare riparo si è trasformata , in risposta alle esigenze dell’uomo moderno, in una articolata analisi funzionale, che incrocia reale esigenza, moda e gusto personale. La necessità di offrire regole e metodologie di analisi del fenomeno ha generato discipline complementari al mondo dell’Architettura, tutte riconducibili allo studio dell’arredamento di interni. La progettazione di ogni singolo oggetto si deve proporre di ricercare, in funzione dell’esigenza da soddisfare, la migliore forma da attribuire all’ oggetto. A questa prima fase deve seguire poi uno studio sul materiale adatto a realizzarlo, il colore e la finitura corretta. La necessità di ricondurre tutte queste particolarità ad una economia sostenibile ha prodotto la disciplina del Design Industriale. Quindi il Design si propone, partendo dalle funzioni richieste ad un determinato oggetto, la ricerca della forma migliore in senso più ampio rispetto a quello semplicemente pratico. Il progetto nasce e si sviluppa dalla individuazione dei requisiti specifici dell’utenza. Determinare l’utilizzatore e le sue necessità è il primo passo per specializzare la forma dell’oggetto. Si impone l’obbligo per il progettista, in questa fase, di attuare scelte decisive tra finalità estetiche, funzionali ed economiche. L’equilibrio tra tali ambiti determina la qualità ed il successo del progetto.

Since its foundation the company MECO has fully lived the industrial change which has characterized the economic development of our country from the 70s. A route which over the time allowed the company to acquire the machinery and equipment useful to full fill entirely the production cycle of its products. The common denominator over the time, was the search of a quality that allows an unquestionable safety and durability of the product, preferring the solidity to the pure aesthetic side. Over the last decade the company has expanded its own offer in order to realize a complete range of products, in accordance with the idea of total contract of the office space. Obviously, such evolution has necessarily required more sensitivity regarding the design and the aesthetic side, closer to home furnishings, with the introduction of the custom-made furniture concept, adding new colors and finishes. A new evolutionary process starts for the company, which with the consent of the market, moves the interest from the industrial standardization to the aesthetic and functional customization of the product according to its customers‘ exigencies. The choice of a ‘’customized user‘’ orientation has imposed an unavoidable structural revolution of the company in order to support the idea of the customer, in compliance with the technical, regulatory and productive standards. This is made possible thanks to a close cooperation between the different professions inside the design team, who manage the delicate process of translation of the idea into a real product. Besides, the direct contact of the design team with the production cycle allows an immediate check on the feasibility of a project and its constant control during the implementation phases. Depuis sa création la société MECO a pleinement vécu les mutations industrielles qui ont caractérisé le développement économique de notre pays depuis les années 70. Un parcours qui, au fil du temps, lui a permis d’acquérir les machines et le matériel nécessaires pour réaliser entièrement le cycle de production de ses produits. Le dénominateur commun dans le temps a été la recherche d’une qualité qui puisse permettre une sécurité incontestable et la durabilité du produit, tout en préférant la solidité à l’esthétique pure. Au cours de la dernière décennie, la société a élargi son offre en produisant une gamme complète de produits, conformément à l’ idée de total contract de l’ espace bureau. Evidemment, cette évolution a nécessairement imposé une majeure sensibilité par rapport à la conception et à l’ esthétique, plus proche de la décoration d’ intérieur, introduisant la notion de meubles sur mesure avec de nouvelles couleurs et finitions. Un nouveau processus d’évolution démarre pour la société qui, avec le consentement du marché, déplace l’intérêt de la standardisation industrielle à la personnalisation du produit selon les besoins esthétiques et fonctionnels de ses propres clients. Le choix d’une orientation ‘’ sur mesure des besoins du client” a imposé des changements d’ organisation inévitables de l’entreprise qui a été structurée afin de soutenir l’idée du client, tout le long de son évolution, en l’ adaptant aux normes techniques, réglementaires et de production. Ceci est rendu possible par une coopération étroite entre les différentes professions à l’ intérieur de l’équipe de conception, qui gèrent le processus délicat de la traduction de l’idée en produit réel. En outre, le contact direct de l’ équipe de conception avec le cycle de production, permet un contrôle immédiat sur la faisabilité d’un projet et sa constante maîtrise dans les phases de réalisation.

The activity of human behavior arises historically from the urge to meet the own needs. These, over the time, have been modified in accordance with the evolution of human thought. The first necessity of building for finding shelter has been transformed, in response to the needs of the modern man, into an articulated functional analysis, which crosses real need, fashion and personal taste. The need to provide rules and methods of analysis of the phenomenon has created complementary disciplines to the world of the Architecture, all related to the study of the home furnishings. The design of each single object must discover, according to the requirement to be met, the best form to give to it. This first phase must then been followed by a study on the appropriate material to be used to achieve it, together to the correct color and finish. The need to bring all these details to a sustainable economy has resulted into the discipline of the Industrial Design. So the design proposes itself, starting from the functions required to a particular item, as the search of the best form in a broader sense than simply the practical one. The project is created and developed by identifying the users ‘specific requirements. To determine the user and its needs is the first step in order to specialize the object’s shape. At this stage, the designer, must implement decisive choices between aesthetic, functional and economic purposes. The balance between these areas determines the quality and success of the project. L’ activité du comportement humain dérive historiquement de son instinct pour répondre aux propres besoins. Ces derniers, au fil du temps, se sont modifiés en fonction de l’ évolution de la pensée humaine. La première nécessité de construire pour trouver un abris s’ est transformée pour répondre aux exigences de l’ homme moderne en une analise articulée et fonctionnelle, qui mélange exigence réelle, mode et goût personnel. La nécessité d’ offrir des règles et des méthodologies d’ analyse du phénomene a crée des disciplines complémentaires au monde de l’ Architecture, qui peuvent être toutes reconduites à l’étude de la décoration d’ intérieur. La conception de chaque objet doit rechercher, en fonction de l’ exigence à satisfaire, la meilleure forme à attribuer à l’ objet. Suite à cette première phase, une étude sur le matériel apte pour sa réalisation et pour en trouver la couleur et la finition correctes, doit suivre. La nécessité de reconduire toutes ces particularités à une économie soutenable a crée la discipline du Design Industriel. Par conséquent le Design se propose, à partir des fonctions demandées à un objet determiné, la recherché de la meilleure forme dans un sens plus large que celui seulement pratique. Le projet nait et se développe à partir de l’ identification des exigences spécifiques des utilisateurs. Déterminer l’ utilisateur et ses besoins est la première étape pour spécialiser la forme de l’ objet. A ce stade, il est impératif que le designer éffectue des choix décisifs entre les finalités esthétiques, fonctionnelles et économiques. L’ équilibre entre ces secteurs determine la qualité et le succès du projet..

Sistema La serie si propone di realizzare postazioni di lavoro singole e multiple, a tale scopo il programma si articola in molteplici profondità e lunghezze. La struttura è autonoma ed indipendente permettendo l’uso indistinto di top scrivania in legno o cristallo. Prerogative fondamentali del programma sono la scrivania principale, l’allungo laterale ad aggancio, il dattilo indipendente e la versione work station con top unico opportunamente sagomato. E ancora l’accessorio gonna, il pannello modesty frontale e laterale. La gamba di profondità 80 cm per la versione operativa che si completa con quella di profondità 60 cm dell’allungo o quella da 100 cm tipicamente direzionale. Esiste poi la versione contrapposta che pone uno fronte all’altro gli operatori raccogliendo al centro le utenze di energia e dati, la struttura consente in questo caso l’alloggio stabile e sicuro di schermi frontali in legno o cristallo per una migliore privacy degli utenti. La versione contrapposta si realizza con gambe di profondità doppia 120 cm (60+60) e 160 cm (80+80) ideali per realizzare tavoli riunione di forma quadrata, anch’essi in legno o cristallo. Oltre alle classiche configurazioni con allungo e dattilo la scrivania si può integrare con un contenitore laterale multi-funzione che raccoglie cassettiera, contenitore con anta a battente e vano centrale porta PC attrezzabile al bisogno con cassettone estraibile porta cartelle. SYSTEM: The tris range aims to realize single and multiple workstations, that is why the program develops with different depths and lenghts. The structure is independent, thus permitting the use of melamine or glass tops. Fundamental characteristics of tris program are the main desk with the hooked side extension, the free standing dactylo, and the workstation with an only shaped top. And further, the frontal screen and the frontal and side modesty panel. the leg deep 80 cm of the operative version completes with the leg deep 60 cm of the extension, or with the leg deep 100 cm, which is typically directional. There also exists the face to face option that puts the operators in front of each other and gathers the cable management in the middle of the desk; the structure in this case allows the stable lodging of melamine or glass screens, granting privacy to the operators. The face to face desk is produced with double length legs, 120 cm (60+60) and 160 cm (80+80), ideal to build square meeting tables, both in melamine or glass. Further to the classical configurations with extension or dactylo, the desk can be integrated with a side multi-purpose cupboard unit, that collects pedestal, hinged door unit and a middle space for pc unit, that can also be equipped with a pull out filing drawer. SYSTEME: Ce programme se propose de réaliser postations de travail simples ou multiples, et s’articule donc en différentes profondeurs et longueurs. La structure est autonome et indépendante, permettant l’utilisation indistinte de tops en melamine ou en verre pour les bureaux. Prerogatives fondamentales du programme sont le bureau principal, le ralonge lateral et le dactylo indépendant, et la version workstation avec un seul top opportunemment façonne’. Et encore, l’accessoire modesty, le panneau modesty frontal et lateral. le pied en profondeur 80 cm pour l’option operative, se complète avec celle en profondeur 60 cm du ralonge et 100 cm, tipiquement directionnelle. Il existe encore la version face à face qui pose l’un face à l’autre les operateurs, et collectionne au milieu le cablage, la structure permets dans ce cas le positionnement ferme d’écrans en mélamine ou cristal pour une meilleure privacy des utilisateurs. La version opposé se réalise par pieds en profondeur double 120 cm (60+60) et 160 cm (80+80), ideals pour réaliser tables de reunion de forme carré, en bois ou cristal. Strutture La struttura si compone di due gambe ad U, meglio definite come del tipo a “portale”, ai lati corti della scrivania, collegate da travi longitudinali realizzate con un tubolare in acciaio di sezione 40x20 mm, sagomate alle estremità per un incastro solido e rigido al punto di contatto con le gambe. Il “portale” gamba si realizza utilizzando un tubo in acciaio triangolare, dal disegno esclusivo, a sezione equilatera di lato 6,5 cm. Esistono due forme prevalenti per la gamba a portale: aperto e chiuso; quest’ultima si propone come variante estetica nelle ambientazioni più ricercate, spesso insieme al top in cristallo. La gamba si completa, per entrambe le versioni, aperta e chiusa, di piedini livellatori per una fine regolazione dei livelli anche su pavimenti sconnessi. Il mobile contenitore laterale viene realizzato con fondo, cappello, fianchi e ripiani in lamiera d’acciaio e si completa sopra, di fronte e sul retro in legno. STRUCTURES: The structure is composed by two “U” legs, better defined as “portal” legs, at the short sides of the desk. They are linked by longitudinal beams realized with a tubular pipe section 40x20 mm shaped to the edge in order to hook firmly. The portal leg is realized with an equilateral triangular section pipe 6,5 cm, with exclusive design. There exist two main kinds of portal legs. open and close; the last one proposes as an aesthetical solution for more sophisticated settings, often combined with a glass top. The leg is completed, for both options open and close, with levelling feet to get a precise regulation also on loose floors. The side cupboard unit is produced with metal top, bottom, sides and shelves, and is completed with melamine on the top, fronts and back. STRUCTURES: La structure se compose de deux pieds en «U», definis à « portail », aux cotes courts du bureau, collegués par poutres longitudinales realisés par tubes en acier à section 40x20 mm, façonnes aux extrémités pour garantir solidité au point de contact avec les pieds. Le mobile conteneur lateral se réalise avec fond, top, flancs et tablettes en tole d’acier et se complète au dessous, en face et au derrière en mélamine.

Tavoli riunione La varietà di gambe disponibili nelle diverse profondità da 60-80-100-120-165 cm, nella versione terminale, intermedia ed a rientrare centrale (prof. 165), consentono di aggregare lateralmente in sequenza piani o di realizzare strutture per tavoli quadrati (prof. 120 – 165) o rettangolari (prof. 100 – 120) adatti alla riunione. La struttura consente l’utilizzo di top in truciolare o di cristallo che al bisogno possono essere predisposti di punti di risalita al piano dei cavi con top acces in abs o nelle più raffinate versioni in alluminio. Le travi longitudinali in acciaio consentono, oltre al blocco del piano, l’aggancio di canaline passacavi e del porta PC sospeso (vedi accessori pag. 38). MEETING TABLES: The assortment of legs in different depths, 60-80-100-120-165 cm, in the terminal, middle and retracted middle options, (deep 165), allows to join tops side by side or to realize square frames (L. 120-165), or rectangular frames (L. 100-120) suitable for meetings. The structure consents to use melamine or glass tops that can also be provided with cable top access in abs or also in aluminium, a more refined choice. The longitudinal metal beams block the top and allow to hook the cable channels and the hanging pc holder (see accessories page. 38). TABLE DE REUNION: La gamme des pieds disponibles pour les differentes profondeurs 60-80-10-120-165, dans la verison terminale, intermediaire et centrale-rentré (prof. 165), permettent de intégrer tops lateralement, en sequence, ou de réaliser structures pour tables carrés (prof. 120-165) ou rectangulaires (prof. 100-120) adaptes à une reunion. La structure permets l’utilisation d’un top en melamine ou en cristal qui peuvent etre fournis de points de remonte cablage avec top access en abs ou dans la version plus elegante en aluminium. Les poutres longitudinales en acier permettent, au dela de bloquer le top, d’attacher canals d’electrification et le porte uc suspendu (voir accessoirs pag. 38).

Piani Il piano di lavoro può essere scelto, in relazione al gusto dell’utente, in truciolare melaminico spessore 18 mm con bordo perimetrale antiurto in ABS 2 mm, o in cristallo temprato spessore 12 mm. La versione melaminico conta di una significativa gammma di finiture quali il bianco, il grigio, il tradizionale pero/ciliegio, il fiammato e più recente noce canaletto, ed infine il classico rovere chiaro e scuro. Per la versione cristallo il vetro viene verniciato, alla faccia inferiore, con colori a freddo conferendo un aspetto lucido e specchiante alla superfice, si propongono i seguenti colori di serie: bianco, rosso rubino e moka. Su richiesta la verniciatura a freddo offre una gamma infinita di possibili colorazioni. Per l’unione tra struttura e top in cristallo ci si affida a bussole, in acciaio inossidabile, preincollate sul retro del top prima della verniciatura (35 mm di diametro). Il top in truciolare viene predisposto di bussole nelle spessore utili a collegarsi alla struttura allo scopo di evitare l’uso di viti autofilettanti. Il piano si posiziona con uno stacco di circa 1 cm dalla gamba e viene fissato alle sole travi longitudinali. TOPS: The worktop can be chosen, on customer’s taste, in melamine thick 18 mm bordered ABS 2 mm anti shock, or in tempered glass thick. 12 mm. The melamine option disposes of a wide range of finishings: white, grey, the traditional pear and cherry, the “flamed” and more recent walnut and the classic dark and light oak. In the glass version the top is painted, in the low surface, cold painting, thus giving a glossy and mirroring effect, we propose the following colours: white, ruby red and moka. On demand, the painting can be done in many other different colourings. As per what concerns glass tables, top and frame are linked together with bushes, glued to the glass top before painting (35 mm diameter). The melamine top is equipped with bushes in thickness necessary to link the top to the structure, in order to avoid the use of screws. The top is leaned over the legs maintaining a distance of 1 cm from them, and it is fixed only to the longitudinal beams. PLANS: Le plan de travail peut etre choisi au gout du client, en melamine ep.18 mm et bord perimetral en ABS 2 mm, ou en verre trempé ep. 12 mm. La version en melamine compte d’une vaste gamme de finitions, comme le blanc, le gris, le traditionnel poirier et cerisier, le flammé et le plus recent noyer, et aussi les classiques chene clair ou noir. Pour la version en cristal le verre est teint su la surface inferieure avec couleur à froid, donnant un effect poli et reflétant à la superficie, on propose les suivants finitions: blanc, rouge et moka. Sur demande la peinture à froid offre une gamme infinie de colorations possibles. En ce qui concerne l’union entre structure et top en cristal on a choisi des douilles en acier inoxidable, qui sont collés au top avant de la peinture (35 mm diametre). Le top en mélamine est prédisposé par douilles dans un épaisseur utile pour se colleguer à la structure, cela au but d’eviter vis perçants. La configurazione

standard si può articolare con il contenitore laterale che raccoglie lato operatore una cassettiera a 3 cassetti, un cassetto classificatore centrale ad uso cartelle, mentre al fronte opposto, in posizione altrimenti inutilizzabile, si apre con un vano ad anta. Tutti dotati di serratura di sicurezza. Il vano centrale può fungere, tolto il cassetto classificatore, da vano porta PC e consentire il transito e la risalita degli impianti al top del contenitore. _ The standard configuration can be articulated with the side cabinet that gathers, on the operator’s side a 3 drawer pedestal, a filing drawer in the middle, and at the opposite side, in a position otherwise unusable, a compartment with door. All are equipped with security lock. Direzionali Grazie alla combinazione della gamba nella versione a portale chiuso, dei piani in cristallo retroverniciato e del mobile contenitore laterale multifunzione, il programma si popone di offrire soluzioni prestigiose utili all’arredo di spazi direzionali. La varietà di misure nella profondità delle strutture e la gamma di forme dei piani permette di realizzare postazioni di lavoro singole, multiple (contrapposte o affiancate lateralmente) o riunione. La struttura sfrutta la medesima sezione di tubo triangolare, dal disegno personalizzato, con gambe laterali unite da travi longitudinali a sezione rettangolare. Al punto di contatto a terra sono predisposti piedini livellatori per una fine regolazione dei livelli anche su pavimentazioni sconnesse. The variety of dimensions in the deepness of the structures and the range of top shapes, permits to realize single or multiple workstations ( face to face or side by side), or meeting tables. The structure exploits the same triangular section pipe, with personalized design, with lateral legs joined by longitudinal rectangular section beams. At the floor they are equipped with levelling feet to grant a suitable regulation also on loose floors. DIRECTIONNELS: Grace à la combinaison du pied dans la version à portal fermé, des tops en cristal retro peint et du conteneur multi fonction, le programme se propose d’offrir solutions prestigieuses pour la fourniture d’espaces directionnels. La gamme des dimensions pour la profondeur des structures et la gamme des formes et tops permets de réaliser postations simples, multiples (face à face ou cote à cote) ou réunion. La structure utilise la meme section de tube triangulaire, au design personnalisé, avec pieds laterals unis par poutres longitudinales à section rectangulaire.
