This project explores the development of a wider target consumer for the male fashion magazine, Proper, based in Manchester (UK). This special edition features editorials, articles, adverts and interviews that all conform to the existing minimalist aesthetic of Proper. Research undertaken for this project has shown that the menswear market has expanded 3.5% since 2017 and therefore this infers interest in men's fashion publications will rise as well. Experimentation with visual communication via typography, layout, inclusion of advertisements for relevant brands all aim to support the magazine take advantage of current opportunities in the market.
