Gila Monster Husbandry and Breeding John Meltzer
John Meltzer has kept herps for over 20 years. For the last 10 years he has concentrated on captive propagation. He has bred a number of colubrid and boid snakes along with several lizard and turtle species. John has worked with Gila Monsters (Heloderma suspectum suspectum) for several years. Last year he was successful in breeding them. The program will cover natural history, captive husbandry, and details of a successful breeding program. Slides will illustrate the program..
