How would you like to learn? “The quality of education in the criminal justice program is beyond what I expected. I’ve had opportunities to meet professionals in the field with real-life, up-to-date information that just wouldn’t have happened if I were in a class of a hundred students.” Kurt Reglin | Criminal Justice | Olathe, Kansas

Living...with purpose. Knowledge and skills. Gifts and abilities. Career and calling. They’re yours to develop. What will you do with them? You might come to MNU for academics. For sports. For faith. But you’ll find purpose in relationship to others. On campus. In the community. For good, for life.
“How many places can you go stargazing in a pitchblack field, or drive 20 minutes in the other direction and be looking over a bigcity skyline? MNU is also the perfect spot to connect with close-by jobs, churches, and internships.” Josh Dampf | Youth & Family Ministry | Ferguson, Missouri

Good, clean fun
A good sport
Weekly chapel is the connecting point for campus life. You can also take part in small groups. Bible studies. Mission trips. Worship teams. And youth activities.
Welcome Weekend. Root Beer Fest. Homecoming Hoedown. Thrift Store Prom. Movie on the Mall. Mock Rock. Intramural Chess. Mother-Daughter Weekend. No-Shave November.
We participate in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) at the NAIA Division I level.
Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish spiritual life from everyday life. Or spiritual life from service.
It’s all in good fun. There’s always something happening at MNU, always someone to share it with.
And that’s just the point.
Nothing to do at MNU? Hardly!
True to our mission, athletics encompass the physical, spiritual, and intellectual lives of students. In the same way, coaches are mentors and models of Christian conduct. On courts and fields and in life.

It’s who→ we are.
No ordinary classroom Talk about real-life learning. Groups of MNU students are discovering what it means to be a neighbor through the YouthFront School of Formation in Kansas City. Students live and study in an inner-city house for a semester, where they take 15 hours of curriculum and perform community service work.
“You’re learning in a completely different way. You’re getting your hands dirty. You’re interacting with people more than just learning from a textbook. You’re seeing people’s views, ideas, and passions firsthand.” Jeff Suos | Intercultural Studies | Crystal, Minnesota

The instructions are simple: Feed the hungry. Clothe the naked. Care for widows and orphans. And visit those in prison. We’re passionate about serving because it brings purpose to life. It’s why students assist earthquake victims in Haiti. Provide shelter to children in Kenya. And help prisoners develop life skills.

study abroad
It’s easy to talk about the homeless. But walk a mile in their shoes?
When 1,000 MNU students, faculty, and staff each donated $25 per semester for a year, the results were astounding.
Australia. Bulgaria. China. Ecuador. Germany. India. Japan. Switzerland.
An MNU graduate did just that— and more—by living on the streets of Dayton, Ohio, for 30 days to raise awareness for the plight of the homeless.
The student-led Passion to Serve project raised more than $50,000 to build a medical clinic in rural Guatemala. MNU partnered with Heart to Heart International, Rotary International, and Engineers Without Borders.
Where will you study? You can choose from among more than 25 studyabroad opportunities to expand your worldview while learning more about yourself.
