WE ARE
RELATIONAL. Campus life at MNU revolves around the idea of community. Everything we do, from dorm life to campus ministry to intramurals to classroom instruction is a way of building relationships among people who share goals and interests. That makes MNU a lot of fun. But there’s more to it than that. We have found that strong community is a key to success in every area of life. Professors get more out of students with whom they have a relationship. Spiritually, students are stronger when they have friends who are comfortable holding them accountable and challenging them. Even after college, career success has a lot to do with personal connections and the habits of community.
In 2015-16, 61 students, staff and alumni participated in MNU Go Global Mission Trips to places like Haiti, Nigeria and India.
900 undergraduate students representing 35+ states and 20 countries
61% of our students live in our dorms, suites, and apartment style housing
A FRIEND LOVES AT ALL TIMES... PROVERBS 17:17
WE ARE CLOSE TO THE ACTION. MNU sits on a beautiful, safe suburban campus in Olathe, Kansas. Students find plenty to keep their social calendars full from Paint Wars to Homecoming Hoedown, Thrift Store Prom, and Sand Volleyball. And in less than the time it takes to clean a dorm room, you can be in Kansas City (just a half-hour’s drive away). Our students’ experience is expanded and enriched by the cultural, entertainment, and professional opportunities that abound in this major city. Museums, concerts, professional sports, great food, incredible internships, and great jobs after college—it’s all right there!
WHAT MAKES KC THE MIDWEST’S ‘IT’ CITY? THE ARTS CULTURE IS STRONG IN KC! Modern Art. Ballet. First Friday’s. A CITY OF CHAMPIONS. The Royals, Chiefs and Sporting KC are all here. GET READY TO ENJOY AN AMAZING FOOD SCENE. BBQ is serious business. Food trucks. International food festival.
