Family Promise Of Baldwin County

Family Promise of Baldwin County has been serving homeless families with children since 2008 and are excited to be a part of the 2021 Inspiration Home. The organization works with churches in surrounding areas to support homeless working families with children by providing them with a safe place to sleep, home cooked meals and loving support.

2020 and the COVID pandemic has been a time of challenge but also opportunity for Family Promise. Family Promise started their newest program called “Homeless No More” providing homeless prevention and rehousing services with the help of two grants, Help Us Move In, Inc. and Baldwin County Impact 100. Since starting in June of 2020, Family Promise has helped prevent an additional 61 families with 182 children from becoming homeless and allowed families to leave shelter quickly by helping with their first month’s rent and deposits. We feel keeping children from becoming homeless as well as minimizing the time a child is in shelter are best for them and our community.
