David Martin started SCC Group during a recessed economy to help offer clients an unconventional method of construction through consulting, construction management and various methods. The company strives to strategically build and run the business in a way to insure a sustainable and healthy environment. The conventional methods of construction are also used for the customers that are more traditional in their approach. Hard work, trust, teamwork and communication has led to quality projects, client satisfaction and the ability to meet demanding schedules. He has been in the business for over 35 years helping commercial and residential clients meet and exceed their dreams and goals.

Working across all market sectors, the team enjoys helping organizations plan for sustainable development as much as they enjoy working with homeowners to plan for the next phase in their lives. WATERSHED is located in Fairhope, at the base of one of the largest watersheds in the world. The actions of millions of people and businesses upstream have significant impacts on the health of our bay, and therefore our local economy. The natural beauty of our community is a constant source of inspiration, but also a reminder that on this finite planet, we all live downstream.

LANDSCAPE DESIGNER Father Nature, Andrew Robinson

While growing up in New Zealand, Andrew Robinson watched his parents tend to their own gardens, and after a year in college in Connecticut, transferred to Auburn University where he graduated with a degree in horticulture and landscape design. Now, he ventures out to client’s homes helping them design their outdoor spaces to be inviting and peaceful sanctuaries for families to enjoy the outdoors. Father Nature Landscapes is committed to cultivating growth—in passion, in servitude and in family provision—and is devoted to being a great place to work while developing a mastery of the many disciplines within the landscaping trade.

DESIGN LIASON Rebecca Dunn Bryant, AIA, LEED Fellow

Rebecca Dunn Bryant is the founding principal of WATERSHED. With more than 20 years of experience in sustainable design, Rebecca has a passion for beautiful design that inspires a greater connection to the natural world. She is a registered architect and a LEED Fellow, with experience in civic, educational, mixed use, commercial, as well as custom residential projects. Whatever the building type, her goal is to design beautiful buildings that simultaneously does good and feels great.
