2025 is bringing an exciting collaboration for the Australian hair community. Kicking off in February Simon Doyle and Andreas Bulu have been putting their minds together to create an immersive day of education at The Hair Academy in the Gold Coast, this February for barbers & hairdressers all over Australia!

This is a once off chance to be part of something super special in the industry. BabylissPro, Wings scissors & 4Barbers will be a big part of the day too! This is one not to be missed. SAVE THE DATE!

WHO IS ANDREA BULUGGIU?

Andrea Buluggiu is a 27 year old Italian Hair Stylist , founder of RIZE Global Education. RIZE is a Minimalistic approach for men’s and women’s Haircutting, focused on precision and suitability. In 2024 he travelled between 14 different countries around the world sharing his perspective and teaching 200+ students through interactive programs and hands on sessions.

He has hosted workshops alongside some of the best in the industry like Charlie Gray (@charliegray248), Rawa Akram (@ rawaakramm) and John Lloyd (@choplloyd). You can check out his work on instagram (@bulu.it).

THEIR MISSION?

Their mission is to help you understand hair cutting from a precision-based approach and to share their ideas on hair. They will be offering their knowledge and concepts of technical cutting for all levels in the industry, whether you are a barber or hairdresser.

They will be delivering this over the course of one day. In the morning, they will have a look and learn event FOLLOWING a hands-on workshop in the afternoon if you are looking to get the most out of the day.

Simon is super excited to be bringing this style of event to Australia, something that’s not yet been done! This is an awesome way to kick off the biggest year of his career to date and he hopes to see you there!
